what's your favorite language?

A lot of people have been saying that they'd rather quit their job than go back to the office, next few months are gonna be very interesting.

how accurate is this? It shows only 5 tables for Airbnb, seems like it should be much more.

lol emacs? vscode probably have a million time more user's than emacs, hell probably vim is more pupular than emacs

Dumb question, why doesn't California invest in desalination plants? I know they're expensive and complex. But Israel and Singapore have several of them running, if they can do it California should be able too.

Yep, a few years later Haiti invaded my country and did the same thing, some towns still tell the stories of the massacres hatians committed in DR, they closed down schools and universities, killed blacks, whites and mulattos, by the time we got rid of them our economy was in shambles and the population was about a third of the population when they invated DR, I think this is the single event that has caused the most damage to my country ever.

And let's not forget for those 2 decades we also payed Haiti's dept to France, something we had nothing to do with.

Haitians love to bring up slavery and their treatment by France and USA as the only and main cause of why they're so poor, but the elephant in the room is how corrupted Haitian politicians and business people are, in the 1950s DR and Haiti had about the same GDP, and now DR is about 10 times richer. Corruption is the main cause of why Haiti is so poor nowadays, I should know, my own country is full of it. For some reason they never bring up Papa Duc and Baby Duc and all the other dictators and corrupt presidents they've had in recent decades.

I really hope some day Haiti can get their shit together and start to develop their country, that'll be the best for everybody on the Hispaniola island.

Hi, what type of board games are you working? I wanna create a makruk game server and don't even know where to start

Hi, I'm kinda new to the web development world, do you have a guide on how to set up esbuild to compile and minimize a project built with typescript and sass?

it's nice they're doing this, but I wonder when they're gonna start returning all the stolen pieces to their rightful owners, like Egypt for example.

thank you!

do you need any external resources to go through this book?

You and everybody else is thinking that, but management knows that it's' cheaper to offer all these perks than give everybody a nice raise.

is there something like this for scala?

I don't think most companies embraced remote work, they just didn't have any other choice. I'm pretty sure there's tons of managers out there that can't wait to get back to the office so they can keep having stupid meetings and micromanage their subordinates.

off topic: anybody knows what's the color theme for the code snippets?

Hi, what type of personal projects are you working on? I started learning c recently and I want to learn embedded development, but I don't know where to start or how.

I think there's a proposed pattern matching implementation for javascript in the works.

Dumb question, but how do you learn to work/program for these things? any reading material I can look at? I started learning C this week and this looks very interesting.

I wish my own country was so strict when granting visas and protecting our borders. Every week thousands of people cross are border illegally to stay, making my already poor and indepted country even poorer.

will I be forced into this even if I use firefox?

do you have any guide on how to setup,TS, linters etc with Parcel?

Albus Dumbledore?!

I can, but colours never seem as vivid in my mind as when I look at them directly, like I can imagine a red apple but it's like a faded red. I've always found this mildly frustrating.

This is so cool, that guy basically has a developer(you) working for him, since he's' the only customer.

care to share those tips about investing?

I've been using Fedora Gnome for a few months now and it's' been great. Updates frequently and nothing's broken so far.

Let's say I wanna build a multiplayer board game, which one would you recommend react or nextjs?

Dumb question, but what is the benefit of something like Nextjs over react/redux? So many things to learn...

Hopefully, this will drive some parents to appreciate a bit more the job that teachers do, I've heard so many parents trash-talking teachers' work. It's not easy dealing with a bunch of kids.

Most people don't like coffee, they like caffeine, it's an addiction. To me, coffee smells bad, tastes ok, and leaves my mouth feeling dirty after drinking it. I just don't see the point in coffee, especially with all the disposable containers from Starbucks and the like that go straight to the trash every day.
