Apple operates door-to-door shuttles to SF and other population centers but that isn't really the point. The point is they have obviously provisioned enough parking to give each and every one of their employees a parking space, with some left over. It's just irresponsible given the traffic situation in the area, and to call it energy efficient is greenwashing.

The events at Oroville have been exceptional and it's strains belief that you, Random Internet Guy, saw it all coming. The amount of water that has fallen in the Feather watershed this year is without precedent in recorded history. The spillway worked fine until a gaping hole appeared in it. Nobody foresaw that a massive sinkhole would destroy the main spillway.
One does begin to wonder if his constituents perceive the disconnect. One major problem is that Butte and Plumas counties taken together do not constitute a majority of the district (Butte is about a quarter million people and Plumas is ten times smaller). Relatively well-educated and affluent Chico is completely buried under a huge, rural, and very poor 1st district, most of whom are not threatened by these particular waterways.
I think we're discussing fluency. If you are hiring someone to edit books written in English, do you want a person who has to look up the meaning of "present participle", or do you want someone who just _knows_ what it means? I am sure that most people can figure out what "present participle" means in a few minutes with a search engine but those aren't the people I want as the editor.
Interview process: complete success.
If you have headcount for "testing" then I don't want to use your software. Tests are integral to coding and should be written first.
