str33t_punk··on I Didn't Get Hired to Google
pretty depressing
str33t_punk··on I don’t belong in tech
I think this is her problem --- I imagine she thinks she is always right, and when her team decided to make the project way A which was probably faster and easier to do than her way B, she got upset and wrote this article to 'correct' the tech industry

'I'm not a white male!'

Seriously? This felt incredibly out of place in the article, it seems like its just pandering for clicks (lets talk about how women, minorities, and 'non-tech' people don't have a place in tech for the millionth time!). Not to mention the quote could have worked similarly with 'asian male' and 'indian male'. Why are you erasing the identities of other overrepresented people in tech?

At my university they gave is all a free hundred dollars worth of aws creds for our parallel course - who needs clusters?
str33t_punk··on The Next Gawker Will Be Darker
I have been seeing a lot of people I know defending Gawker and I don't really get it. If a business uses illegal practices they should be sued. There is freedom of the press but that doesn't give you complete immunity for everything. It seems like journalists these days think they can do anything they want. Remember the News International phone hacking scandal? You can't break the law to get profits. I wouldn't mind if the "next gawker" is underground -- at least no one would be profiting on shady journalist tactics
