stonecodegump··on Ask HN: Books you read in 2016?
There seem to be two Flow books by the same author :

Flow: The Psychology of Happiness

Finding Flow: The Psychology of Engagement With Everyday Life

Which one are you recommending?

stonecodegump··on A Git catastrophe cleaned up
I agree. I know there is a lot to Git and you can pretty much do everything. But whenever such discussions come up about how many options there are and how amazing it is, I just glaze over and completely fail to concentrate. I don't think I have the brain power to actually master Git. Luckily I work in a 2 man team, so rarely do I need to do anything particularly complex. I have my workflow and I do what I can not to stray from it.

My macbook disconnects from wifi once per day, quite consistently. I'm just used to it now, and reconnect and within a minute or so I am good to go again.

I signed up specifically so I could follow Trumps tweets post election. It seems this is where government policy is going to be formed for a while.

Interesting. I had similar problems on my Samsung several years ago when I was trying Snapchat out. I uninstalled and never returned..

Out of curiosity, what makes a design interesting for you?

To me a laptop is two rectangular bits, with a screen on one and a keyboard on another. My macbook has silver rectangular bits, that Dell has black rectangular bits. I don't really see any other significant difference between the two..

The freezer is your friend.

I would love to work out a way of making sardines more palatable. I do force myself to eat them, but it is a real struggle.
stonecodegump··on Ask HN: How can I “learn” to talk to people?
I think a big part of the problem is I have aspegers and thus find human conversation exceptionally confusing - thus very poor social skills. I am however, aware that this is also very likely to just be an excuse, and I want to just push past it.

I will look up that book, thanks.
