Seeing a setup like yours really reinforces the whole idea of why I built this. Thank you.

On the feedback for the RSS/Atom, noted; watch this space - love the idea. Right now, it's just one-off monthly email digests as changes happen for people you follow. I'm certainly following your setup :)

I was really hesitant to add email (entirely optional) due to email fatigue, so your suggestion might be the friendly alternative.

You can now search by hardware to find similar setups - great suggestion, whether it was intentional or not - thank you.

Added search for you.

You can post Markdown through the editor, but yes, it requires signing in. I took the liberty of treating your comment as a submission. https://mysetup.ai/setup-selicos-example

Astra + Fable certainly built it, but I knew the design I wanted as an outcome, rather than iterating with models without a clear end goal.

When people do the latter, I feel it's easy to spot an AI design.

Consider it done :) Manual now available - looking forward to seeing it.

Thanks for checking out, I've added support for manual entry without MCP: https://mysetup.ai/connect

No Codex, Claude, or Pi... now you have peaked my interest with your setup :P

Fair point, MCP contribution was always optional, although not obvious. I've updated it to make manual contributions outside of MCP more prominent
steveybrown··on Ask HN: What are you working on (September 2024)?
I recently noticed how much Apple Maps has improved in recent years so I decided to throw together a little app using it. In addition, I set out with a goal of using tools, frameworks and a hosting provider I had little to no experience with. I learnt a ton and developed opinions across a few areas so I see it as a success.

I don’t expect to add much more to the app and I’ll probably kill it in a few months as it’ll likely cost me more to run it.
