Besides Nitter, what other options exists out there for sites such as Reddit or Instagram?
Recommend it to anyone moving away from Heroku or looking for a cheap place to start.
I do wish it would support login though, but you can’t have it all.
I recently built a Hacker News client [0] on top of the official API and using the method described in the article to login users is very inconsistent. I kept running into Captcha issues and even when that didn’t happen, sometimes a login request would simply not return the expected token.
Unless the official API starts offering user login, this will remain difficult.
I currently run the blog on my own website [0] the same way using Nuxt/Content to render the markdown, generate static pages and host them for free on Render [1].
What would you say is the advantage of Truegit as opposed to a free setup like mine?
I can not recommend Miguel Grimberg’s Flask Mega-Tutorial[1] enough for beginners and novices. It is a bit more full stack focused, so if you are looking to use it for an API I’ve been maintaining a basic example [2].

I’ll definitely reach out as it seems like a great platform after diving some more into it
One thing I was missing was a demo admin panel and demo store to get a bit of a feel for what is possible.
Of course tools like this aren’t necessary to work with Bootstrap or create emails, but it has saved me a lot of time which is valuable in itself.
I wanted the image of the artwork to be in full view when you load the page so putting the button at the top might not be the solution as this pushes the image down. I'll definitely look into this though since it's a good point
The Rijks Museum has an API which offers access to a large part of their collection, including high quality images. Now that museums are closed I wanted a way to experience art so I built Random Rijks. It will show you a random object from the Rijks Museum collection, including objects not usually on display.
Any feedback is welcome!
