stacktraceyo··on Tinnitus Is Connected to Sleep
Interesting. Thanks for that
stacktraceyo··on Tinnitus Is Connected to Sleep
AirPod pros noise cancellation gave me my tinnitus. Just as a warning to others be careful. There’s an apple support page with lots of people complaining about the same thing.
stacktraceyo··on Waiting for dawn in search: Search index, Google rulings and impact on Kagi
Is there a crowd indexed style search index? Like instead of relying on the crawling completely you rely on a maybe like an extension in your browser that indexes as people are using their browser. Or maybe indexing your site to this index instead of waiting to be crawled.

stacktraceyo··on The C3 Programming Language
My university had us program in c++ with resolve. Which looks very similar to the contract stuff here.
stacktraceyo··on The post-GeForce era: What if Nvidia abandons PC gaming?
Gaming got me into coding. Messing with Warcraft 3 world editor back when there were a lot of dota clones. Good times. I think blizzard had their own language JASS that was very lua like

For a long time I would get hardcore stopped and hassled at the airport cause my name matched a terrorist. Although I was born in the USA. Made no sense to me why our system would flag someone just by name

stacktraceyo··on Does our “need for speed” make our wi-fi suck?
How does the age of the copper affect performance. Will look into it thanks.
stacktraceyo··on Does our “need for speed” make our wi-fi suck?
I know what a router is lol. I just was wondering what are the available options to use all the coax connections already in the house so I could connect everything via Ethernet , if you wanted to avoid running Ethernet through the walls or don’t want Ethernet cables visible

When I was younger and before WiFi was a thing I naively thought I’d just plug in a new modem.

stacktraceyo··on Does our “need for speed” make our wi-fi suck?
I wish I could have multiple modems coming into the house using the same provided cable. Why’s that not possible?

When I was younger I went and bought a new modem so I could play halo on my Xbox in another room than where my parents had the original modem. Found out then I’d need to pay for each modem.

stacktraceyo··on Apple's AirPods Pro hearing health features
My AirPod pros gave me / exasperated my existing tinnitus when used with noise cancellation
stacktraceyo··on No one buys books
I like paper books. I get alot of enjoyment from giving them to friends to read. To me it’s like the difference between when I used to make a mix tape or mix cd and give to someone vs sharing a Spotify playlist.

Also I find that it adds character. Like if someone comes into my house they can see what type of stuff I’m into via my “analog” music movies and books.
