sprak··on Running Python code in a sandbox with MicroPython and WASM
Is this the place to look at if you want to play around with a live demo: https://tools.simonwillison.net/micropython ?

Looks nice. Does anyone know if there is something similar for Android?
sprak··on Flappy Bird for Android, only C, under 100KB
This (Simple Mobile Tools) used to be a good set of apps. But it got bought up a an ad firm. The new, still ad free apps, are known as Fossify: https://play.google.com/store/apps/dev?id=729783837865432255...
sprak··on Swedish unions strike: Blocks mail and package deliveries for Tesla
I agree that it is shocking behaviour - of Tesla to act like they did. They should know better, McDonald's tried the same thing in the 80's:

Great work! Any chance that you could add the two letters ö and å?

Å would be the same as ů but with an "a" as base.

Ö would be the same as ä but with an "o" as base.

sprak··on Elder Mother
Interesting, that one does sound more similar to "Skogsrået"[1]. With the possible exception that Skogsrået was very beautiful, as long as you didn't see her from behind. Apparently there were many different creatures watching over the forest in Scandinavia and the rest of Europe.

sprak··on Our eyes can change colour throughout our lives
Here in Sweden it's quite common for newborns to start out as blond and blue eyed only for it to change later. Hair color can take up to four years to darken. Eye color is usually stable within one year, perhaps two.

It is so common that the Swedish phrase for "naive" is "blue eyed".

sprak··on Snakeware – Linux distro with Python userspace inspired by Commodore 64
An easy modified Desktop Environment written in Python was one of the goals of the "One Laptop per Child" project. They succeeded[1], it's now separate from the hardware and can run on anything from your phone, raspberry pi, regular computer and the OLPC-machines.

(Another goal was better sandboxing bitween apps. Their project was called Bitfrost and was in many ways the first step towards flatpak that we use today)

sprak··on Day ahead electricity prices for EU
Sweden has four zones and according to [1] tomorrow's price will be from north to south:

Zone 1: 14,25 cents/kWh

Zone 2: 14,25 cents/kWh

Zone 3: 108,64 cents/kWh

Zone 4: 201,63 cents/kWh

1 Swedish krona is 0,094 USD. So between 1,3 and 20 American cents per kWh.

Most people live in Zone 3 followed by Zone 4. Facebook's datacenter is in Zone 1.

sprak··on Old jokes
Yes, go into any Swedish book store and you will find books upon books joking about how stupid Norwegians are. In Norway they have the same thing, often the very same jokes, but with the nationalities reversed.

I think the Australians and New Zealanders have the same joking culture between them.

sprak··on Did Einstein say that? (2018)
It is surprising to me that the quote: "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results." is from 1983 and not from Einstein. It fits so well as a (misguided) critique of quantum physics. The double slits experiment is indeed to do the same thing again and again, expecting different results.
sprak··on Wordle Analyzer
Great contribution to the Worlde meta-game. I like that the AI follows through with your "bad" decisions and still tries to make the best out of the situation.

How hard would this be to use for another language? Would you just need one list with the valid answers and one with the valid guesses?

sprak··on Show HN: Three Magic Words
Nice game. I liked the feel of moving the tiles. There is a slight problem when I first enter a new puzzle. The movable tiles are below the screen! [0] (On Android, standard Chrome browser). It fixes itself if I rotate to landscape and then back to portrait.

So far I like the word list you've used. But I've only tried the easier days :p.

sprak··on Albania’s Goal of Making “The First Wild River National Park in Europe”
Albania is roughly the size of Maryland and Sweden is slightly bigger than California. So one protected river in Albania would be very good news.
sprak··on Albania’s Goal of Making “The First Wild River National Park in Europe”
This is a nice goal. Will it be the first i Europe? No, Sweden has four such protected rivers: https://sv.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sveriges_national%C3%A4lvar

I'm sure many other countries have such rivers as well

Take the word "lampa". You have versions of the word: "lampor", "lampan" and so on. The correct word for each day should only be of the type "lampa". No "bending". That is the word list that I'm looking for. But you should be able to guess words that are "bent". Those I can get from /usr/share/dict/danish

I can modify my swedish one to do danish. Do you know of any good word lists? For all valid words I can use /usr/share/dict/danish. But do you know of any list that only has good clue words? I'm looking for something like https://scrabbleforening.wordpress.com/ordlister/ord-med-4-b... but for five letters
