I ended up using Azure Table Storage and Azure Search on top of it as the index. The azure auto suggester works great. it allows you to mark different fields as Retrievable, searchable, filterable etc. pretty cool thing
I'm adding the hotel booking engine to the website. The first hurdle I came across was how to offer fast suggestions to the user when typing a location / hotel name. That's when I found Azure Search ( which is extremely easy to set up), and now I just have to complete the whole process. This whole thing is extremely gratifying because I'm learning new stuff pretty much everyday.
I'm working on a travel agency website that integrates with global booking systems, something like expedia but less complex. So far along the process I've learned a lot specially about a wide range of Azure services. I just learned Azure Search and wow, it works great!
