Cool, but it there's no links for more info, and it doesn't seem to work in the USA at all.

Just for my own understanding, you're not insinuating the US is currently playing fair with regards to starting the war that caused all this?

Cyber-warfare probably shouldn't involve the entire civilian population's phones.

solarpunk··on Advice to Tenstorrent
prior to the elections here in the us he spent a few minutes of his streams every few days talking about how stable trump was gonna be for business and how democrats pitching capital gains taxes was a nonstarter.

He's not even really a food safety crusader, he's just a vocal proponent of the "whole foods movement". Other than that, he's a former heroin addict Kennedy dynasty failson.

I think the term used to describe the imposed cost regulation is 'Medical Loss Ratio (MLR)', and the providers that own both ends of the claims transactions can use inflated costs to artificially manipulate their MLR.

That number is in the ballpark of what it costs to install solar on a rooftop here in Minnesota.

The other part is these solar gardens don't stop paying for your electric bill if you move, so it's especially equitable for renters.

solarpunk··on The withering dream of a cheap American electric car
>We should be investing solar in lower income communities, as those people could really use cheaper utilities, and any saving they get would immediately go back into their communities.

Good news, these are called "community solar gardens" and they exist all around the USA, here's a large one based in Minneapolis: https://www.cooperativeenergyfutures.com/

solarpunk··on The Fediverse is getting its own TikTok competitor called Loops
i am assuming the majority of those users are not active then?

are you using external storage for user media elsewhere?

do you federate with the broader ecosystem?

these numbers are otherwise nonsensical, a 20 dollar do droplet has like 100gb of storage space, and 3Tb of transfer, that'd be chewed up in less than a week by those users.

solarpunk··on The Fediverse is getting its own TikTok competitor called Loops
you have 5000 users on a mastodon instance?

i used to run an instance and i am skeptical of your numbers.

I think it's probably better to think of it more as top down (club of rome, malthusians, austerity measures) vs bottom up (kohei saito, eco-socialists, shorter work weeks) degrowth.

hamas is the governing body of gaza, so any government workers would technically be hamas.

don't confuse post office workers for military personnel just cuz they work for the government.
