Yeah good luck
The music is generally considered terrible because the quality of the music is not important, the point is to sing about religious themes. Every song is about Jesus, the lord’s love, etc etc. people listen to it because it adheres to their ideology. Not because it’s objectively high quality music.
Woke media is about checking off the diversity boxes, using minorities and very real social issues as a marketing campaign. These producers start with their ideology and work backwards. The writing is an afterthought because in their worldview, people will simply watch X because they look like X.
This is why you end up with extremely low tier writing with properties such as Ghostbusters 2016, Ocean’s 8, Men in Black 4, Terminator: Dark Fate, Charlie’s angels 2019, and the endless list of gender-swapped / race swapped reboots. They do poorly at the box office and among fanbases, but do great on Twitter among folks looking for ideology-driven content.
Woke content, like Christian rock, will always have an audience. But an audience driven purely by ideology and not by writing quality is unlikely to succeed. Especially as audiences and the actors have taken notice. For example, Folks like Emily blunt are avoiding films explicitly prioritizing gender-based marketing:

“It’s ideologically misaligned with me, therefore it is propaganda” is really difficult for many of us to follow.
Not even going to bring up the feedback from white people.
The positive feedback you get to these things is from other HR managers and DEI managers who like to pat themselves and each other on the back.
My take on them is they are unlikely to survive the recession and will be remembered as a relic of the times. Using them as a shield from lawsuits has not materialized as in some cases these programs can lead to their own discrimination suits.
Let me guess, you think “the Jews” are behind this?
This might cause them such a legal headache that VCs may think twice about investing in future rounds.
Might be in their interest to just update the language and convert the shares at the next round.
Brilliant genius engineer guy with shiny thing needs to be able to articulate how to sell $8B of the thing. This of course has not happened, as OpenDoc had been failing for years until that point.
That statement is the final blow. And probably deserved by a person who just accused their boss in public of being uneducated on the topic. Something elitist engineers love to do and seem to get away with time and again. Yet when they are put on the spot about their own shortcomings, we are to assume this is some kind of attack? Please.
HN mod bias is thick. Fortunately many of the users are able to think for themselves and can see through the rot.
And also who cares? It’s a dying platform anyway right?
Ah yes, the dual conflicting narratives of the legacy media.
Twitter is simultaneously dying yet more powerful than ever.
Musk is both a baffoon who got lucky (4 times) and also an evil rich mastermind genius.
He is going to run the company into the ground while also taking over the world.
These narratives are so tiring and obviously full of it that you have to wonder how NPCs download this stuff on a daily basis without overheating.
As men we really don’t care about this stuff.
It doesn’t know why it’s saying what it’s saying, but it’s really good at saying it.
For real game reviews from people with real opinions head over to Reddit.
Maybe these folks would benefit from a renewed focus on political corruption, war crimes, illegal finances, unsolved murders, etc - you know, real journalist stuff, rather than ragebait articles. Just a thought.
I take it you’re from an affluent area and make a high salary.
Come to New York City and talk to some of these people about how much they love the subway. It’s not short, inexpensive, or safe.
The great thing about people espousing their hatred for cars and the people who use them is it exposes the tech-elite disdain for the average person and a complete disconnect from reality outside of the Bay Area bubble mentality.
“People should not be driving” is not a statement that I - or most normies - will ever get behind. Some of us don’t like the bus, the bicycle, or walking. I get it, some of you have a pamphlet to give us about the benefits of these things. We’re not interested. We like the vroom vroom.
You want real actual journalism on this topic you need to go independent:
It’s an excellent way for the Kathy griffins, Billy baldwins and Tom Arnold’s of the world to stay relevant
Whether or not they actually believe in what they say is irrelevant. It’ll still get likes and retweets, which is all that this stuff is really about anyway.
Sorry if that sounds less than sympathetic but I’ve been hearing it for ten years so I’m not sure what else to tell you
Does anyone have a link to a video that can verify this?
I am confused which part is the lie
(I do not think this is, I am just curious)
We used to trade bags of weed for student metro cards. Others trade lunch tickets for homework. I saw a student hand over their north face jacket and a cell phone to have someone else to take an AP exam for them. They later told their parents they were robbed on the way home.
As Jeff gold bloom would say: “life uhhh… finds a way.”
Re: watermarking, it’s exactly what I alluded to by “OpenAI May even expose this as a product.”
ChatGPT is amazing but getting someone else to do your work is not novel.
I’m also quite certain schools will implement an AI-detection mechanism, and wouldn’t be surprised if OpenAI were to expose that as a product offering.
