That is simply and obviously not true. Technical expertise is still highly relevant when prompting, reviewing, understanding consequences, and approving.

I'm a person who is over-reliant on LLMs, doesn't know how most of the things in the codebase work, and is atrophying both in programming and in general cognition.
I used to care, a lot. And I still do.
There isn't any effect on the quality or precision of the output. Nothing changes in practice.
