sikhnerd··on The History of F1 Design
Really cool, too bad the scroll design is so janky
sikhnerd··on MicroPython on Flipper Zero
I 100% miss the golden age of running RockBox on my iriver h120. Such an amazing firmware (and hardware)
sikhnerd··on Firefox 125
Sideberry extension gives you a lot of what you're looking for. You can have separate tab panels for each container, and a keybinding (ctrl+space by default iirc) that opens a new tab in the current panel and the current container.
sikhnerd··on How to make a better default Firefox UI
Thanks for posting this, really makes a big difference!
sikhnerd··on Mozilla's first LLM, lets online shoppers research products via an AI chatbot
Awww :( I was blissfully unaware of this and happily using it regularly. Thanks for sharing :(

Thank you so much for the hard work you do! It makes the web sooo much more usable.
sikhnerd··on Convert Curl Syntax to Python Requests
The capability to convert a network request from one format to another is the main reason I use Postman, which has a great implementation of this and a ton of tools and languages it can do it in. This looks great as well
sikhnerd··on Rockbox – Free music player firmware
Much love for Rockbox. I used to run this on the iriver h120 and use it for amazing lossless recording on the cheap. This was one of the earliest things that got me interested in open source.
sikhnerd··on Amazon Echo Buds
The Sony WF-1000XM3 sounds like what you're looking for.
sikhnerd··on Stripe Corporate Card
Anyone know of an equivalent for GCP?
sikhnerd··on Kerbal Space Program 2

sikhnerd··on Redis will remain BSD licensed
I'll pile on here as well, we were thinking about shifting from elasticache to RL, but this has made that decision super easy.

sikhnerd··on The New System76 Galago Pro Is a Potential Macbook Killer
As much as I want to root for the linux underdog, the giant bezels and reported 3 hour battery life make this DOA (for me)
sikhnerd··on Cloudflare Reverse Proxies Are Dumping Uninitialized Memory
jgrahamc: can you list which public caches you worked with to attempt to address this? It does not inspire confidence when even google is still showing obvious results

sikhnerd··on Happy 23rd Birthday, DOOM
Skookum is a word/phrase that the gentlemen from the linked youtube channel uses often. It's really a great channel and very fun to watch him break down powertools and explain electronics while using 'interesting' language.
sikhnerd··on 411 – An Alert Management Web Application
This looks pretty cool and very slick, though it seems very similar to what Graylog[1] offers out of the box, which we've been using in production for some time now.

sikhnerd··on How I built an app with 500,000 users in 5 days on a $100 server
https://github.com/mjhea0/flask-boilerplate might fit the bill, not as comprehensive though.
sikhnerd··on GNU Screen v.4.4.0
Sounds like you don't use many screen keybindings either? Likely just remapping the default key binding to match screen's in your .tmux.conf gets you 90% of the way there:

  unbind C-b
  set -g prefix C-a
  bind C-a send-prefix
fwiw, the shortcut to enter copy mode in tmux and screen is the same C-a [
sikhnerd··on How are zlib, gzip and Zip related? (2013)
It's annoyingly common how the OP doesn't mark this answer as accepted, or even acknowledge how amazing this answer is from one of the technology's creators -- instead just goes on to ask a followup.
