What I said applies to any distortion. Astigmatism is just one example. Lenses that turn everything upside down is another. A few hours later, everything is normal.

Cultural issue: I think in Britain you just cannot publicly say things like that without backpedaling with 'allegedly' etc. Perhaps a public official saying "we got him" is somehow more outrageous than scribbling 'catch that, fascist' on a casing and shooting a person for their beliefs (whatever they may be).

Perhaps American Dream will be redeemed if the barristers wear wigs?

A psychotic take on the situation. An unrelated politician states "We got him"; Telegraph hysterically projects that US is finding someone guilty without a trial.

Innocent until proven guilty? How about you don't treat the whole country as guilty until it is proven guilty?

As someone who wears corrective lenses for astigmatism, I can guarantee that what you perceive as a straight line, assuming you are human, is not, until your brain corrects it and signals 'straight line' to you.

It takes a day or so for your brain to get used to any consistent distortion and totally disregard it.

This is just pointless complaining... A bigger complaint with curved screens is: crazy reflections.

It's crucial to label, in large, letters, "BUTTONS" and "MICRO-SD SLOT", in case you forget later.
