The blinking contest is the end, isn't it?
I had to search my backups for the installer of C++ Builder when I bought a new laptop. Luckily I had a backup.
Many years ago I used Voyetra Teach Me Piano Deluxe which ran on Windows XP, but gave up after some time. I think I'd have to create a virtual machine to run that again. My town is so small I can't find a piano teacher.
It may be because the foundation recives German public money.
I know 3 foreign languages and I think it's a waste of time to learn more, because if a person is not literate enough to communicate in English, I have nothing to talk to them about.
I'm using C++ Builder in my day job and the documentation is sparse, with very few examples and most recent books are from the early 2000's.
You can't really open old projects in new versions of the software. Some devs use VMs to develop on the old versions of Builder.
The documentation and the example code for the C++ side are horrible, because they are focused on Delphi. You must know Delphi to figure out how to use the libraries in C++. The documentation for Delphi also feels very light and outdated. The latest books about it are from the begining of the 2000s and there are very few Youtube videos about it.
Sometimes Intellisense stops working and you don't know why. Sometimes some access violation happens and the debugger gives you no hint why.
The price is also expensive. I think my company spent 2300€ for a single license and they expect you to renew every year.
This is absolutely insane! New results should not replace the already found ones.

One of the reasons Yugoslavia fell apart is because the richer north didn't want to pay for the under-developed south. EU has the same problem. The currency without a political union is a time-bomb. I also think the loss of the (educated) population to the north is unsustainable. Croatia has lost 10% of the population since it joined the EU.
Remember, a lot of these guys are huge narcissists. They will reveal their darkest secrets to a famous journalist, because a bit of fame overpowers their most basic survival instincts. It's like when Trump had Bob Woodward embedded in the White House.
This AI is far too coherent for Žižek.
It is shocking to me that there is not a paper record for each cast vote in Brazil.
