Having watched their keynote at MWC I am quiet impress at what has been done behind the scenes for Windows 8. Some influence from Plan 9/linux can be seen with the new hard drive space management. The new process management seems exciting if it works properly.
Microsoft seems to have put some serious engineers behind Windows 8. For that I tip them my hat.
I can't wait till I can get the Lenovo Yoga. I'm after a laptop with an IPS screen and I'm after a 13" tablet. I think my setup for next year will be desktop/server + Lenovo Yoga + 8" tablet + 4"+ phone.
To further prove my point. Yesterday, HTC announced a phone running the latest and greatest Tegra 3. Later that afternoon S4 was announced.
10gbps makes sense if you also have 1gbps servers in their network.
BTW Sonic.net is $70/m. The article was mistaken.
Seems like consumers trust Google a lot more than hackers.
OVH is expanding into Canada too. Makes me quiet scared. They are like the walmart of the data industry.
Shame free's online.net is not competing outside of France.
Hope Sonic builds a powerful network.
I quiet like the feel of opening an Israeli bottle and drinking the first cup. Sad to say I have not found a similar Coca-Cola experience anywhere else in the world.
The Israeli plant adds aromas to their Coca-Cola as it is common for Israeli drinks to add them. The also use very high concentration of carbon. So much that the lid can shoots off like champagne.
The Palestinian one is a lot cheaper and far better than American one IMO. So what I use to do was buy the Palestinian glass bottles and the Israeli large bottles. heh.
Keyboard input support in full-screen mode
Improved audio support for working with low-latency audio
Ability to progressively stream textures for Stage 3D content
LZMA compression support for ByteArray
Frame label events
ActionScript workers (enables concurrent ActionScript execution on separate threads)
Support for advanced profiling
Support for more hardware-accelerated video cards (from 2005/2006) in order to expand availability of hardware accelerated content
Improved ActionScript performance when targeting Apple iOS (What the??? iOS???)
Performance index API to inform about performance capabilities of current environment
Release outside mouse event API
Refactoring and modernizing the current core Flash runtime code base
Work on the ActionScript Virtual Machine
Updates to the ActionScript language
Doesn't seem like there will be anything new that can not be currently albeit less efficiently.

This all assume there is actually going to be something more than security updates after 11.2 for other platforms. And that it is going to be something we would want on Linux.
The real question is if this is true, why are they dropping flash for android?
Given that linux really hasn't been a priority for them and they are dropping flash all together; this isn't really news.
The press release says Adobe worked with Google on Pepper. So for them to have a bias towards it isn't groundbreaking.
