shim2k··on Launch HN: Coasty (YC S26) – An API for computer-use agents
"Zapier to monitor email inbox and then extract the code" - I hit this exact wall, and ended up building the missing piece myself. The agent gets its own managed address on our domain, and one call blocks until the verification email arrives and it is automatically parsed for OTPs/code/magic link. Available at https://sente.run/
shim2k··on Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (July 2026)
third-parties accounts for agents: https://sente.run/

agents have their own email and phone number and get a logged in browser instances on demand.

shim2k··on Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (December 2025)
Sente - a custom browser agent for QA automation http://sente.run/
shim2k··on Show HN: Age of Empires AI game reviewer
The agent sees which civs are playing in the game that is being analyzed, and pulls season updates and builds from pros specific to those civs and it adds them to the prompt :)
shim2k··on Ask HN: What Are You Working On? (June 2025)
AOE4 (Age of Empires) reviewer: https://aoe4.senteai.com/games

By analyzing game statistics, we are giving players a new way to improve their game.

shim2k··on Yandex said it caught an employee selling access to users' inboxes
Not saying it does not occur in tech in general, but there is a difference in scale between selling the data and abusing it for personal reasons. The examples you provided are exclusively the latter.

The mentioned employee sold access to 4,887 email accounts.

shim2k··on Apple just kicked Fortnite off the App Store
People who still don’t understand why people pay for Apple products really lack basic piece of wisdom, making their opinion less valuable. Yet they still boast about this particular misunderstanding of theirs.
shim2k··on Smokers quit in record numbers amid Covid fears
The studies are not being conducted in the US alone.
shim2k··on Teaching physics to neural networks removes 'chaos blindness'
Aren’t preconceptions not random by definition?
shim2k··on Reasons to Learn Redux as a JavaScript Developer
I am kind of confused, because I view HN as a strong community in terms of development skill but the comments here on Redux are really surprising..
shim2k··on Alzheimer’s Drug Failure Leaves Scientists Seeking New Direction
Well, to be fair his comment is still correct.
shim2k··on Palestine's unique stretchy ice cream [video]
You are mixing the Gaza strip with Ramallah, which is where this ice cream shop is.

Ramallah is actually a pretty developed and secular city in the west bank.

shim2k··on A time in 1994 when Steve Jobs got to use a device like an iPhone
I actually found this format refreshing so keep doing a good job!
shim2k··on Ask HN: What are some good (fiction/non-fiction) books about human progress?
"Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" by Yuval Harari. Pretty much a review of all human history.
shim2k··on Why Big Companies Keep Failing: The Stack Fallacy
Peter Lynch writes about it in his book "One Up on Wall Street". He calls it 'Diworsification'.
shim2k··on HN Not so much “Hacker News” anymore
It's not so much "Startup News" but new technology coverage and technical articles. "Startup News" sounds more like stuff you'd read at Tech Crunch which are more trendy and fruitless IMO compared with articles often found here on HN.
