Now you know why I do not write articles for javacodegeeks..

This article is devoid of any dev value

Secrets of LSD...

Are you ready for this?

When humans and most mammals give birth the female body produces a drug that produces psychedelic effects as a counter to pain of child birth on the baby.

And guess what? That replay of effects is what we call the illusion of near death experiences that some experience later in life..

Is not the biological machine fascinating? :)

no they are spending billions to advertise traveling securely as what they are attempting to secure is so statistically approaching zero to be laughable..

in the 1970s when it was found that people could highjack planes by delivery a threatening note or bomb and using a parachute to jump out with money what do you think the airlines did?\

They took the statistically significant thing and changed how planes were designed to prevent people being able to jump out of airliners through the back escape doors.

It did not cost billions of dollars and no extra xray scanning machines were used either..

First act of de-toothing TSA is putting those qualified on security of airlines..the airlines themselves back in charge of security!'

Contrast this with the China hackers that went underground 15 years ago, no chats..no irc..no bbs boards..nothing..

These anonymous guys are complete effing idiots..meaning any training FBI is doing in catching these folks is actually doing the FBI more harm than good in that its not preparing them for the hard serious hacker threats such as China hackers..

I have a question:

How might accepting a US citizen co-founder impact such a visa process? Does ti improve the the chances for success and if so why?

I am in the same boat as I do not want to use Mac equipment.

Laptops: I have good experience with Toshiba both AMd and Intel cpus..my next laptop will be an i7 Toshiba.

As far as build desktop I might not have to as there are some basic HP desktop PCs on sale that with 1 gig dedicated graphics that you could install SSD into and than supply two LCDs and a network NAS for under $2500.

That is of course you have choice between 2nd generation i7 and the AMD FX series cpus

And of course if you need to add a graphics tablet it will bring it up to $3000..but still not bad..

Federal court NY District unsealed the charges this morning..as people were arrested

What people fail to realize is that US DOJ paved the way for other countries who do not want free internet to do what the DOJ does..ie India can demand that any *.in domain has to follow Indian law and take down any posts that disparage its leaders, etc..

Its really a very bad long term move on DOJ's part and especially undercuts the US State department efforts

yes but in twitters defense gmail now is 1.6 megs it was over 2.5 megs some time ago..about the time wave was launched..they heavily refactored gwt due to the problems with wave..

hmm I guess FB is not paying up on Patent fees huh..

Still need verification as a practicing lawyer who is licensed is sometimes different from just getting a JD..

It could be used as a selling point in letting those who get verified add to it telling what specialties they handle, etc.

and when FOXconn switches to robotic factories in the next 3 years than what will be your complaint? What that Japan is making money selling and out-fitting those factories?

This is not on Apple..America lost the Automation race to Japan by being very strategically stupid

Apple is not to blame for that mistake

The context that is missing is there was a DOJ lawsuit against MS at the time. MS needed someone propped up as slight competitor..hence the deal as otherwise MS could have just waited until Apple ran out of money and their patent problem would be solved.

The quote might be wishful thinking

Here is an idea..since RIAA and MPAA like closed deals so much lets every 6 months stage the same protest to remind them that its still somewhat WRONG!

plus on top of that the business side co-founder has establish the start-up in the tech press, etc.

read Zed Shaw for his take on that

nope github has been opensource for awhile dude

PLus the aspect that he doesn't have citizenship

This reminds me of another industry under the same pressure credit card industry via new disruptive payment systems.

The issue is not with start-ups or established players its with US Congress and the DOJ who have consistently used 911 to over-reach to control things so that they do not have to hear dissent. Sort of what the standard Russian citizen experiences on a daily basis, bbut they are not alone in that experience.

Thus, when did we become a less free 'Third World Country'?

My apologies to citizens in Third World countries as I lack the vocab early this morning to express it in a different way.

I think you better re-read what is happening in Australia, what you describe better fits their situation than the US one.

a question why is no one concerned about the Safari hole in context of Apple?

Seems tome that you have more to worry about in Apple than Google as there many others using the same exact hole.

Two types of recruiters those that have exclusive contracts and those that do not..

Your description does not hold for those with exclusive contracts.. in fact those are types of recruiters you should interact with as they are very pleasant.

it will not happen.. Right now I have an interview with Tumblr in a few weeks, how did I get it if not going through their own recruiter?

I asked David Karp if I could turn in a proof of concept Tumblr Android app as part of the application process.

Contrast that with FB, which I am still in the Internal Recruiter shuffle..but is a holiday today maybe it will change on Monday.

Somewhat wrong, there exists right a segment of folks whose only computer is either a smartphone or tablet.

By 2015 that will be bigger than the total world-wide amount of PCs..its a market MS needs to be in PERIOD!

Biggest miss would be having SB as CEO..

weekends during winter as he is busy during crop season.

No, sorry that was GB and Russia that did that during WWI

NO! The Symbian Alliance Formed because Nokia wanted to control its competitors to such an extent to make them never able to best Nokia. They did that by doing closed versions of Symbian that were never open to the Symbian Alliance.

Guys, someone is pulling Internet's leg and right now I assure you that the pastebin post author is laughing his head off that its on HN

Can we kind of bury this

1 million Chinese download file ..no jail time ..MPAA/RIAA crickets..chirp chirp
