Bye y'all!
A friend who was prone to nightmares tried melatonin and it made her nightmares worse.
So perhaps it just induces worse nightmares in those prone to having them in the first place.
> The electrons might even get excited enough to jump to entirely different orbitals
That's what causes hot objects to glow, basically -- the electrons get pushed to higher orbitals, and then fall back down again, emitting light.
>"Feynman's thesis advisor, John Wheeler, proposed the hypothesis in a telephone call to Feynman in the spring of 1940"
I've noticed it's quite standard in English publications to use quotes around allegations, even if no one really believes the other side.
Not sure if this is just custom, or something to do with the stricter libel laws...
e: Here is a post on the language log that goes into the matter. (Make sure to read the comments.)

The second is in 48hrs, and almost definitely something related to the SteamBox. So it's too soon to speak of their intentions "for the time being".
There are a myriad of things that are legal for the government to do that are illegal for a common citizen. There's no irony in that.
Netrunner came out 3 years after Magic.
I don't actually see any of that in this post, though I can't speak to the original headline here on HN.
I think your expectations tinted how you interpreted the framing. The test is presented as a historical document, and I didn't see any attempt at commentary on the current educational system.
This overlapped a period of two springs where I had terrible, terrible allergies, which claritin/etc barely helped with. As a test I drank coffee for one week, and the allergies completely vanished. :(
I've firmly stuck with 1 cup a day, though, drinking decaf after that. I think only drinking coffee right after I wake up probably helps.
There are many ways they could have notified OpenID users that would have worked -- this wasn't really one of them!
But I can tell you that multiple, multiple times people have cried wolf on this. There's always a gap between when Google releases a device and when they release the accompanying source.
I mean, my doctorate involved calculating tiny, tiny corrections (8 or 9 decimal places) to hydrogen-like energy levels, but even there I could still treat the proton as point like!
On a deeper level, we still have trouble simulating even a single proton.
I'm sure there will be a new version of CS when ES6 becomes widespread, but why would old apps need migrating? CS produces regular JS, and thus will be 100% compatible with ES6.
That's a misunderstanding of what the phrase "monopoly of/on violence" entails. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monopoly_on_violence) Though to be fair, I'm not sure the OP really understands that.
The actual application of physical coercion is delegated or permitted by the state ... the law might permit individuals to use physical force in defense of self or property, but in this case ... the ability to use force has been granted by the state, and only by the state.
And of course, the total revenue on iOS has had longer to accumulate.
So rounding 500 to the nearest order of magnitude gives 1000. 310 is the mid point.
The bundle does track total money spent per platform (you can specify which you want your purchase to count towards): http://support.humblebundle.com/customer/portal/articles/281...
However, they still made a significant amount of revenue from non-iOS sources. (It was about half and half.) Whether it's worth investing in an Android version probably depends on how just how much effort it would be. Here they got about 1/5 as much revenue from Android as they did iOS, but I'd bet it took less than 20% of their initial budget to do the port. (Especially given that they had already ported it to Windows, OSX, and Linux.)
