seanfchan··on Things Every Kid Should Master
The traits that we should be testing for in this article are great but what do you think it would take to adopt this type of testing?

It seems like public school are stuck continuing with the current tests because these tests are used to procure federal/state funding. For schools to change, the country's consciousness needs to change about how society defines a "well rounded" individual

This is great! The point the website makes that really intrigues me is the vast amount of materials this technique opens up to 3-D printing. I wonder if this tech will ever make it into the hands of the consumer.
seanfchan··on Stop Saying ‘Let me know when works for you’
Another thing I would like to point out, is that if you say “I’m pretty free the next two weeks, let me know when works for you.” it allows the second party to keep pushing it off if they are busy.

If you give them a couple of times within the next few week, their choice is shifted from (speaking from second part POV) "Whether I should meet you or not" to "Which day works best for me to meet you".

seanfchan··on DHH: Un-Manage Your Employees
If the company does start to become bigger, and groups in charge of certain aspects of the products start to form, is it possible to still apply this model on the smaller formed groups? Then the weekly leader of each group meet and therefore encourages employees to maintain the "bigger picture" of the product.

Is this doomed to fail? what do you guys think?

seanfchan··on Get Off Your Butt: How to Get Motivated When You’re in a Slump
I totally agree with you. After spending a couple of hours on a project, I go on a treadmill for 30 min to clear my head and focus on something else.

It really allows me to refocus my energy toward the project again after the workout.

Working out allows me to work more efficiently and keeps the body healthy, needed in every programmers life.

Just looked at the site. It seems very functional and the fonts are large enough to clearly direct the user on what to do next.

Other than the previous suggestions, one aspect I didn't like was the hover message on the 3 pictures at the bottom. They are a bit too long, and I quickly lost interest in reading them. They should be short and to the point so the user know what to expect before viewing the content of the picture.

I feel the user today always want instant satisfaction and reading a large hover over message is not expected and not wanted.

Otherwise everything looks great, requested a report.

Best of luck to you and your team.

The thing is how secure is any of our payment methods today? Can't credit cards be replicated as well?
