You always know team progress, and how each team member spends every hour. Task lists can be used for managing sprints, group tasks by categories and many other things. The software is methodology-agnostic. Sounds interesting? Good news - it is simple. We have implemented bug tracking, automate time tracking, timesheet, invoicing features. Everything should be easy to use. It is free for any use and limited only by storage size (2GB). It is enough to manage a couple of big projects or several small projects. No features limitations. Scailer should not work in the background until you change the option "Minimize Scailer on close" in the Settings -> General settings (do not forget to save settings). By background we mean working without a window. Also, Windows suspends running applications when you put the computer into sleep mode. You have full control of background work. High power utilization may be related to the initial downloading of a large number of messages from your email account. Later Windows should recalculate these statistics.

Thank you for the good words), we are glad that Scailer is working significantly faster for you than other email clients. We tested Scailer with email accounts with 500,000 - 1,000,000 email messages, and it works fast. Due to this Scailer has no option for limiting the count of messages to download. Yes, it may be a bit unusual that Scaler does not require customization, creation of folders and manual control. The application should automatically sort messages by contacts and robots and save user's time. Users can control where messages are displayed: in “Contacts mail”, “Promo and robots” or only in messages of a particular contact.

Yeah, that is because emails are generally longer than typical chat messages. If you try to display a series of replies directly as a chat it will look poor. Scailer resolves that problem. We created a unique algorithm that transforms a series of replies to a sequence of related well-readable posts about the subject.

Thank you for the comment. For security reasons Scailer does not store oauth2 keys server-side and never will be. We will add information about this on the website.

We have not tested the work of the application directly from DMG. Probably this is the reason why it says that the trial period is expired. Try to copy it in Applications.

Scailer connects to scailerservice.azurewebsites.net to check for updates. This is Scailer service for updates hosted on Microsoft Azure. And also Scailer connects to scailerservice.azurewebsites.net to get avatars of contacts. Users can turn off connection for avatars on the welcome screen or in preferences.

What version of dovecot do you use? Is this your installation or mail provider?

Thank you for your comment. Scailer is an application that is created to solve exactly the same problem you are saying about. Scailer distinguishes human emails from Robot emails but at the same time displays some categories of emails from robots as important (bills, urgent notifications, etc)

Thank you for the opinion. Scailer has unique design that improves user’s experience in email. We decided that Scailer should look same on both platforms.

Regarding performance of the application on the old Mac, if you try it on and give us feedback, it will be really appreciated. We tested it on really slow PC and it works normally.

Regarding the keychain. Keychain is aimed to store an encrypted data. MacOS prevents other applications from accessing keychain data of other applications. Scailer uses own isolated keychain to store encryption keys to protects user’s data from 3d-party access. Scailer stores database encryption key in user’s keychain and license encryption key in system keychain. When Scailer adds an encryption certificate in system keychain, MacOS asks user to allow Scailer to do that. It will not allow Scailer to read keychain data of other applications, system or user. MacOS only allows the particular application to read keychain data created by that particular application. Using system keychain allows all users of the same Mac to use the same Scailer license.

Regarding “ethically sourced contacts”. Scailer finds an avatar and social profile links (linkedin, facebook) of a particular contact in the internet using the FullContact service as a data source. Scailer shows avatars of contacts in the left panel. That feature improves Scailer’s user experience. “Ethically” means that Scailer uses only public information: public avatars and public social profile links, and Scailer does not share that information to 3d-parties, and does not use it for advertisement. Scailer caches contact information retrieved from FullContact because of FullContact recommendation. Scailer does not store on any servers any link between email address of user and requested contact. Of course no messages are passed to the server. Scailer connects to a IMAP server (gmail, office365) using a secure channel and stores message cache in local encrypted database. It allows Scailer to work with old messages in offline mode as well as support other features like fast searching, message threading and others which improve Scailer's user experience, and at same time increase the application security. Due to strong encryption nobody will be able to read your data on your hard drive, for example if you lost it.

Thanks for your question. Scailer synchronizes data with email service provider (gmail, office365 whetever it is). If you even lost your laptop/computer, backup of your data will still be available on your IMAP server. Due to encryption nobody will be able to read data on a lost device.
