sbose78··on GitLab Web IDE
Good job! This looks like a great code/text editor than an IDE at the moment.

You would need some sort of code navigation, debug and run capabilities to call it an IDE :) Hope to see more soon?

Redhat's OpenShift.io Eclipse Che integration would be a good example of a cloud IDE where you can could code, build and debug off a web-browser backed by a container-based workspace running on Kubernetes.

Her vote percentage has hardly gone up since the first round.
sbose78··on French election: Macron defeats Le Pen
If polls haven't closed yet, shouldn't exit polls be made illegal? Because exit polls can manipulate opinions.
sbose78··on French election: Macron defeats Le Pen
I'm curious how things work? This is just a prediction? Is this an official exit poll?
sbose78··on Stop the Daily Standup Meeting
It's fair to ask the team how frequently they want stand-ups. It could be daily or it could be weekly.

Without asking, standups are counter-productive.

You can use any IDE and also use every other component of OpenShift.IO ( like planner, build, pipelines )

sbose78··on Red Hat OpenShift.io – Free, end-to-end, cloud-native development
Hey! Sorry about that, we are working on fixing the problem for folks who had an existing OpenShift account. Tracked it here: https://github.com/openshiftio/openshift.io/issues/134
sbose78··on Red Hat OpenShift.io – Free, end-to-end, cloud-native development
Almost all the internals are matured/stable upstream projects which have been around for a while.

Openshift.IO makes all them work as a SaaS for production use.

sbose78··on Red Hat OpenShift.io – Free, end-to-end, cloud-native development
Ok so this is "OpenShift.IO" :) And not just openshift

This is openshift + planner + code editor + pipelines + 'analytics'.

Here analytics does code quality checks and lets you, the developer know, if they should be using a different Jar/package ( example: the one used by the developer might have a security vulnerability reported which the developer was unaware of )

sbose78··on Red Hat OpenShift.io – Free, end-to-end, cloud-native development
Folks, check out the TechCrunch article on the announcement :

https://techcrunch.com/2017/05/02/red-hat-launches-openshift...

It will answer a lot of questions :)

sbose78··on Red Hat OpenShift.io – Free, end-to-end, cloud-native development
Disclosure: I work on openshift.io

Openshift.io is the end-to-end development environment which is built over the OpenShift PaaS.

sbose78··on Mark Zuckerburg comments on Peter Thiel controversy regarding Trump donation
If Mark is unsure about what makes Peter throw his weight behind Trump, why not ask him?

Not that he is answerable but if he has good reasons I'm sure he wouldn't mind talking about them.

sbose78··on Bug 1283585 – Fix Intel's AES-GCM code to not depend on AVX
The bug report has way too less information for folks of other disciplines ( inside CS ) to understand.

Could someone please provide a context?

sbose78··on Apple hires one of the developers behind Signal
It does make sense to hire a guy who has had great success in Security. The chat app is just one of the use cases which he handled, and a good experience in designing secure software always helps.

Exactly what I was thinking.
sbose78··on HTTP/2 Protocol for iOS Push Notifications
This will be very helpful for enterprise environments which have an HTTP proxy for external URLs. I'm guessing this improvement wouldn't need a socks proxy since this is no longer a socket protocol?
sbose78··on HTTP/2 Protocol for iOS Push Notifications
It helps the APNS server identify the sender server better since the certificate does have more details.

Also, having the certificate helps in signing and encrypting the notification packets triggered from the server.

They'll probably never agree that they didnt get anything. They'll claim they got evidence related to "suspicion to X " which could be entirely based on a conversation where someone was expressing opinions. And yes, they might also say that the information is classified!
