sazary··on Ask HN: What tool do you suggest for Websocket development?
I dont think so, I haven't seen anything like that
sazary··on Ask HN: Does using React Native and React really help cross-platform code reuse?
Thank you.

When you say it reflects needs of facebook, do you mean it won't help a team of 2 to do web & mobile front ends? Do you think going fully native (I mean java & swift) is easier?

sazary··on Ask HN: What newsletters do you read every day or week?
http://ben-evans.com/news/ a weekly newsletter by Ben Evans, which is highly insightful on mobile world. It has a seperate 'stats' section which is really nice
sazary··on Coursera blocks access to students in Cuba, Iran, Sudan and Syria
as an iranian, i dont give a damn. i already route all of my traffic to my vps in US, so i can access everything that is blocked to me either by iranian or american government. but this kind of sanctions, just like financial sanctions on iran, increases the hatred of americans in iran, and shows their hypocrisy.

> Maybe if our government didn't threaten other nations with annihilation, this sort of shit wouldn't happen to us. Who knows.

yes, you can blame our government, even when US is putting the pressure on our people, not the government. it makes prefect sense.

sazary··on Graph Search's Dirty Promise and the Con of the Facebook "Like"
> The truth however is that the link between query intent and your social interactions for interests and places is much weaker than FB wants you to believe.

i must diasgree with this line. facebook is not the place that you could search for a specialized query (for example algorithms or scientific data). instead it is a place to search for people, restaurants and other day to day subjects that people tend to talk about in daily chats, and they may share links or write status about them in social networks. yes, maybe number of likes is a bad measure to rank the results, but it definitely is a measure.

sazary··on Ask HN: Can you guys tell me your initial impressions?
i dont like your color pallete. i think a good free resource about this is Sacha Greif's Colory Theory ebook. the "buy.sell.trade" banner is uglu, too big and useless. it seems that you've adopted a flat design style, but in the product page the "cash/trade" button is 3d. i love that it has keyboard shortcuts. but i cant figure out why you have such selection of shortcut. for example why search is #? i think / is more appripriate. or why list an item is D? shouldn't it be L? the same thing for categories. and the simplicity is awesome.
sazary··on So you want to be a "real" programmer?(2011)
yet its so difficult to find the good technology to learn & adopt, since several languages & frameworks are created and fail everyday.
sazary··on Ask HN: How can I make Hacker Newsletter better?
it seems that you yourself read articles that are in the email. so i think writing just a few lines that describes every link is a good idea. Dave Pell is doing a good job about this in NextDraft.

also points and number of comments are important things to be included in email, but they may clutter it. personally i prefer them to be there.

and the classics part is really good ;)

sazary··on Safari is released to the world
maybe every reason of making iOS Maps is acceptable here too.
sazary··on Safari is released to the world
maybe nothing other than an angry steve and a not-that-fascinating-presentation.
sazary··on Host me in California
it seems this is more of a "charity" than a "business". also it may be possible to take back your expenses when he graduates.
sazary··on Host me in California
even if they are not of a higher quality, it is much easier to apply to a good american university from an american high school than a slovakian one.
