Additionally,

Then, an image of the a script that spouts gibberish to the console.

Props to the author for the significant effort they put in the hack. But it does seem like the author is intentionally glossing over some parts of the hack (actually spelling these things out would have been a lot easier).

Everyone (including Tesla) would like to know what you did in the script, not what you called it or what newfangled quotes it is printing out.

I am curious to see how Microsoft execute on the implementation of the user model for this: would user accounts used while running bash (or other utilities) correspond to actual Windows accounts (and integrate modes like "Run as administrator" with "sudo" calls from within the shell) or whether accounts for these binaries would exist separately (the demo video linked in one of the comments shows everything running as 'root' but it is a preview after all). I guess we will find out.

Try ToRead.cc. It will mail you the contents of the page you are at, and allows you to add text to the mail that will be sent. I use filters and topic tags to classify any interesting links I find.
sarthakk··on Ask HN: how do you keep track of interesting stuff online?
I use toread.cc. It's basically a js script that mails you the contents of the page you are currently at. Quite nifty.

The basic Kindle and Kindle Paperwhite don't use Android. It's only the higher end models like Kindle Fire that use the Android fork.
