did you try arrow keys and space bar?

I remember doing that too as an 90s kid. Also, collected 100s of maha-lacto wrappers for gifts.

`jrnl` commandline tool does the same with a text file. You can sync it with dropbox and use the same journal across multiple machines.

Thanks for sharing this repo. While I don't have time to actively contribute to the code, I have been testing on images to share my feedback for future devs.

1. Background removal is working good on a lot of different types of images. This includes images with background, plain or white background, men, women, children, hair, and pets.

2. After background removal, the new image is warped in some areas. For example, I have a picture of a child eating ice-cream. The background was removed perfectly but left a lot of artifacts on the child. I can share those images for testing.

Please let me know if there are other areas I can test.

Thank you for this website. I tried so many time learning Morse and often failed. With this site, I picked up half the alphabet in 20 mins. All I can see now are "Tape", "Submarine", "Hippo" etc.

Hmm interesting. I wonder what happen if there were a lot of fake reviews on Apple’s own apps. I am sure this policy would not apply to themselves.

This looks like something google would do to get code samples to train its AI than anything the user would get in return. Also, it says experimental. Its Google's way of introducing someone as "Hello, meet my future ex-wife".

Agree. In 1969 while they were busy landing folks in moon, the civil rights movement and black panthers were fighting for equality and justice. My 2 cents.

I am assuming the "doubling" might have come from delivery drivers and workers at warehouses mostly. Looks like the good folks who are let go are now mostly from non-engineering.

I agree, this is the single most exciting event happening at twitter from a technological point of view. why miss it?

I am surprised how much less discussion takes place about cyberbullying and the deaths caused by it. I agree with freedom of speech but if it violates someones right to exist then shouldn't the culprits be punished? If not punished atleast have a legal process to discuss/debate it in the court of law? Thoughts?

I think the accepted term for a parent who lost their child is Vilomah.

Personalizing my MacBook OS should be like personalizing my car while personalizing Netflix/Amazon etc should be like me expecting my local Walmart and Target to let me personalize their store. Is that a fair comparison?

Typo: it should be 19. PART 3: LARGE TEAMS 13. Planning and Decision Making

I see. Now it makes more sense. Thanks for the other links. I never knew about boook.link, it seems to be a very fun idea.

How is this completely different from about.me pages? Can someone explain the difference between the two?

Thanks a lot for breaking down the problem. This choice is basically driven by the development team. It is my plan to maintain a single code base for all the services we are building. Right now even though all three engineers have experience in Java or Python or NodeJS, each one picks a language that they are very familiar with. We did one architecture discussion last week and the next one should probably be like the one you mentioned above. Thanks for your feedback

Thank you very much for your advice. I have my notes for a sync meeting this week which is in line with what you mentioned. I will use this approach.

I am 35. I moved to the Bay Area in 2010 with a bank balance of 10k which were basically my savings from my part time job in University. I started my first job and have been saving monthly since then. I don't own a house as it is too expensive. In the decade since, I met my future wife, married and had a child. I have close to 450K in savings + some stock. I am mostly frugal but spend for my wife and child.

One of my major concerns when I see this kind of design is that they never talk about the target room size.

For my next anniversary my wife would suggest a Michelin star restaurant and my 2 min version can be McDonalds.

How is this different from What3words?

Looks like this nationalist Indian government is very thin skinned and cannot take any form of criticism directed towards its policies and laws. Sad. Any form of government which takes such extreme steps towards its citizens for expressing their opinion in a non violent manner has lost its credibility to uphold the constitution.

Yes. my home network is super slow and usually I blame Comcast but this is different.

I don’t think it’s a valid comparison. Comparing a company which had an army and used force to occupy and obtain its wealth is not how corporates work today. Today there is deceptive advertising and marketing which are not the same as army and force.

servers right. well said mabbo >The next time some politician tells you regulations are always bad, only lead to more expenses for customers, remember this.

This is my goto approach every time I have to parse html or XML. I still don't understand why people don't use something as simple as google spreadsheets and write a simple xpath to load tabular data using =IMPORTHTML().

I am surprised no ones looking at Apache Drill. https://drill.apache.org

This is something Paris Hilton would do but with boyfriends.

Well the notification is for the app. So I think it is not intuitive for the app to notify the customer to install itself. Did you understand what I am trying to explain?
