You can do a lot without designated and built roads, as buring man up to that point obviously demonstrated. If it wasn't constantly growing, they probably could have gone several years without another death
Also drive on beaches would be a good example.
Is it fair to say a clearing problem is a missmatch of expectations?
It seems to me that people are simultaneously becoming more specific and demanding, while simultaneously seeking risk aversion and comfort
With humans at play, you are bound to get sensual experiences, because that is what many people enjoy. You also have people who do epic amounts of work and engineering, because that is also what many people enjoy.
Cant really speak to your experiences with social strife. My burning man camp became my family back in the real world. Some of the smartest and most exceptional people I have ever met. Conservative goat ranchers to bay area they/them environmentalists going out of their way to be kind and give 110%.
I just got a bunch of painstakingly hand made quilts to celebrate the birth of my 2 month old in the mail from a campmate I haven't seen in 3 years.
Being inebriated makes it easy for people to open up and bond while common interests in drinking helps motivate them to get together.
If alcohol is part of the solution to that, then it is certainly worth considering trade-offs. A lonely and miserable life is not one worth living
Not every industry has tech level profits.
I see people claiming they aren't being held liable, and some saying it should be situational.
The problem imo is defining what the core function sold is such that you can define malfunction and liability.
Quite cheap tho!
Is it proximity to the city power grids and fiber backbones?
Seems that would be solvable then land is trivial if they go somewhere without objetors
I think there is a class of people who are less interested in constructive reform, and more interested in seeing america fail. They would rather everyone suffer than improve and thrive. Maybe they do see that as a form of atonement.
There is a vocal population that say america is evil, as are it's institutions, laws, and principles. This faction is particularly dominant in places like reddit.
That has nothing to do with supply chain risk designation. That comes from sabotage
I bet they could get a better deals if the military went and started taking hostages to aid in price negotiation.
After all, getting the best price is in the public interest.
>I'm just exercising my power as a purchaser.
No shit. The point is it shouldn't be used that way and that is not what this law is for.
Should the government be able to designate a company supply chain risk if they don't like the price?
Prohibiting contractors and departments from using it to produce products well within anthropic terms of service has no risk.
It is petty retaliation and strong arming.
Imagine if Ford said they weren't interested in building tanks, and then the DoD said employees and contractors can't use Ford for any purpose, because they are a supply chain risk
I would complain very loudly as well.
> 29.7% of U.S. households experienced package theft within a single 12-month period.
That seems like enough households to make tracking an important feature for most retailers.
While many of those packages might be classified as junk, others might contain medicine for your child or an auto part needed to get to work.
