I doubt a lot of regular people care what Microsoft is doing. All they want is a laptop or PC that works or to be able to play their XBOX games.

But China?
Use standardized testing. We cannot power the future with feels, we need STEM grads.
I'm using a personal license and Codex. What does this cost to generate 3x solutions as a starting point?
Even in simple coding I have been doing, I notice Codex will burn through my Open AI subscription rather fast.
But it is abundant in Russia, Ukraine, Germany, and Poland. Also, there is nuclear power in France.
However, Russia and Ukraine are at war. Germany is willing to go green and destroy itself. EU hates Poland and other east European countries. And EU and the rest of the world can't disassociate nuclear power with weapons.
So I guess EU can enjoy their limited and expensive green energy.
Really? As a naturalized American I see diversity in the USA's media. Do you have an example?
From what I see, there are two big voices in the media politically.
> rarely do I see dissenting voices in the media
Again, we need an example. I see the official line from the current party in power, and the counter arguements from the mainstream media as a whole. The current party only has a media output from very few mainstream sources.
Why? It's selfish, but since the US and EU sent jobs out to India and China. India and China, have created protections that make getting those jobs back nearly impossible short of stopping payments. At the same time, these countries have huge trading imbalances (see FR complaining that their CN trade imbalance is untenable) and have become the defacto for cheap labor.
Other than that, I am guessing junior roles will move offshore to supply the body shops where the corporate IT work has been going.
They all are now involuntary patreons.
How does 2FA prevent malware? Anyone can get a phone number to receive a text or add an authenticator to their phone.
I would argue a subscrption model for 1 EUR/month would be better. The money received could pay for certification of packages and the credit card on file can leverage the security of the payments system.
From company interns. Internships won't go away, there will just be less of them. For example, some companies will turn down interns because they do not have the time to train them due to project load.
With AI, now employed developers can be picky on whether or not to take on interns.
You all really need to stop using this term when it comes to OSS. Supply chain implies a relationship, none of these companies or developers have a relationship with the creators other than including their packages.
Call it something like "free code attacks" or "hobbyist code attacks."
Thermoelectric cooling is not very good and takes a lot of energy to do.
Probably like every president before him.
No president like CEOs can know everything about the organization they head. They are mostly the face and mouthpiece, and depend on chiefs and VPs to tell them what needs to be done according to the agenda that CEO or president has put forth.
You have to read into this line from the article:
> Congress directly authorized and funded CPB
He may not have the authority, but his influence over certain congress people and CPB board members can get the process moving.
Also, I have always wondered why CPB cannot just cut federal ties and become a sponsored non-profit?
During all shows you always hear or see that they are sponsored or have grants from major Fortune 500s, private families, and other institutions.
Also, whenever this defund topic comes up, CPB always says, "we receive very little from the fed, so our funding is not much and can be ignored." Well now is the time to put up and split from the US federal government officially.

Sounds like a backdoor way to add a kill switch or censor filter to browsers from a central, unelected authority that does not respect the sovereignty and speech and media laws of the individual users' home countries.
No thanks, I'll take an open source, corporate controlled browser 10/10 times.
I guess these US manufacturers will need to step it up: Kimberly-Clark, Procter & Gamble, and Georgia-Pacific
They would, but would non-business and non-wealthy consumers pay what it costs?
> millions spent by agency on travel, office renovations
all with no congressional oversight, only an executive director making unilateral decisions on tax payer money.
Ok that makes sense. Why is CFB not overseen by the congress and is a separate agency without oversight?
In 2018, Germany (and France) were warned about their dependence and deals with Russia on oil and gas - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nu57D9YcIk0
I assume this is appealing to young or women drinkers?
If the government took less of a tax cut from these items they would be a little more affordable.
Also, Z's still smoke, but it's in the form of Zyn patches and nicotine bars.
Booze is mostly a women and poor person thing now. And gas, most of the Z's don't seem to drive because their parents always chauffeured them.
