Some would argue that when you have changing governments (as opposed to a single "party"/"faction" for a long time), the level of corruption tends to be more in check... (this is because new governments don't have "the reigns" on every different area of the government, and also because this bolsters the opposition to "dig for dirt"...

The level of corruption in Brazil now adays (as a product of the nearly 4 mandates under Lula) is extreme. It was enough of an extreme that the people decided to elect an almost unknown, highly polarizing figure such as Bolsonaro...

Politicians and underwear should be changed often imo!

I read about something similar here a while ago if I'm not mistaken... Great idea...

How is pricing determined? As a company, how much would I pay? is this something set by the developer? Can it change? is it a subscription or one-off (or is this also up to the developer?)

Leaving it up to the developer has some benefits, but having a standardized pricing scheme also has advantages (standardized is much harder to get right, but would probably be "better" for companies... more predictability, etc)

Look very cool, and I'd love to try it out... HOWEVER....Being closed-source, backed by a single company (startup or not) is not an acceptable level of lock-in imho.. (maybe for small pocs)...

What "guarantees" that you dont decide to charge far too much (or increase price mid-way)? What "guarantees" you wont kill a feature I need/my development requires?

Its a very nifty thing but without having self-hosting ability and this being some sort of open project (at least partially so users have a 'way out' if the company's direction changes) I cant see using this for any non-personal project...
