Can you provide a reference where it says that there is rank boost for AMP sites. AFAIK if you're site is fast it will get some boost only in mobile. But it doesn't need to be an amp site. Gurdian for example runs their own AMP cache.

Cloudflare provides AMP cache. If you don't want to use Google CDN.

It was more of an flavour(fork) of android than a linux distro. First they made installing android on x86 easy as installing linux or windows. Second they added desktop like launcher for android. So multiple apps can be open at same time and do window resize.

The first beta preview of sierra had webp support and safari supported it. They removed it in the later preview release. Hopefully they will support webp in some future release of macOS.
