romanhotsiy··on Show HN: Line9 – A Mermaid rendering engine with its own layout
It doesn't work with 4 of 5 diagrams from our codebase I tried randomly :(
romanhotsiy··on AWS multiple services outage in us-east-1
We're also seeing issues with Lambda and RDS proxy endpoint.
romanhotsiy··on After 6 years, I'm over GraphQL
We use https://tanstack.com/query/v3 + openapi-based auto-generated SDK.

I would say the DX is pretty much comparable to using Apollo Client.

romanhotsiy··on Oxlint – JavaScript linter written in Rust
Compatibility with eslint. They implement the most common eslint rules and looks like esling config support is WIP.
romanhotsiy··on Tell HN: CloudFront Is Having an Outage
us-east-1 only for us
romanhotsiy··on Show HN: Generate commit messages using GPT-3
There is a similar tool: https://github.com/RomanHotsiy/commitgpt
romanhotsiy··on GPT based tool that writes the commit message for you
Thanks for mentioning! I posted it to "Show HN" last week but it didn't get lots of attention back then.
romanhotsiy··on GPT based tool that writes the commit message for you
The title is a little bit misleading. It doesn't write commit messages, it generates PR summary.
romanhotsiy··on NPM Is Down due to Cloudflare issues in some countries
NPM requests from AWS us-east-1 fails with 503 for us.
romanhotsiy··on Show HN: A friend and I spent 6 years making a simulation game, finally released
Reminds me a little bit of Ostriv game: https://store.steampowered.com
romanhotsiy··on Tell HN: AWS appears to be down again
We see issues with Auth0 too. Other AWS services we use seem to be working fine so far (us-east-1)
romanhotsiy··on AWS us-east-1 outage
It doesn't show errors with Lambda and we clearly do experience them.
romanhotsiy··on AWS us-east-1 outage
It's funny that the first place I go to learn about the outage is Hacker News and not https://status.aws.amazon.com/ (it's still reports everything to be "operating normally"...)
romanhotsiy··on AWS us-east-1 outage
Can confirm lambda is down in us-east-1. Other services seems to work for us.
romanhotsiy··on Auth0 Down
Yes, looks like it started to work for us too a few minutes ago.
romanhotsiy··on Auth0 Has been down for almost 4 hours now

romanhotsiy··on What's Happening with the Coronavirus
> We also noticed that the only Asian donor (male) has a much higher ACE2-expressing cell ratio than white and African American donors (2.50% vs. 0.47% of all cells). This might explain the observation that the new Coronavirus pandemic and previous SARS-Cov pandemic are concentrated in the Asian area.

the only Asian donor, n=1. It's too bold to claim that Asian men are the most susceptible group.

romanhotsiy··on Show HN: Data manipulation for GraphQL queries with Lodash syntax
In theory, it can be used both on the client and server but we recommend using it on the client. Check out corresponding README section: https://github.com/APIs-guru/graphql-lodash#caching-clients
romanhotsiy··on Show HN: Data manipulation for GraphQL queries with Lodash syntax
It has been just released, so probably there are not lots of users :) Share your feedback if you decide to use it
romanhotsiy··on Studio Ghibli API
I'm the author of the tool used to generate the doc. And yes this is just my mistake (I don't use back button so much during testing so never noticed this). Will fix it asap.
romanhotsiy··on Studio Ghibli API
ReDoc author here. Thanks folks, for submitting a bug. I've implemented this feature recently and I usually do not use back button during testing :)
romanhotsiy··on Show HN: GraphQL Voyager – Represent Any GraphQL API as an Interactive Graph
Well, have you tried clicking "GOT IT"? It's just a warning, not "broken"
romanhotsiy··on Show HN: GraphQL Voyager – Represent Any GraphQL API as an Interactive Graph

romanhotsiy··on API Discovery: Can we do better?
Thanks! That helped! Fixed now
romanhotsiy··on API Discovery: Can we do better?
The funniest part here is that the proposed solution actually IS the semantic WEB. Schema.org is based on semantic web technologies. Check out wikipedia example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantic_Web#Example and note they use Schema.org as vocabulary
