The first thing we do when we get to an AirBNB is wash the linens. I'd never rent a place without a washer and dryer for this reason.

With 3 kids, having a kitchen to use. That's about 90% of my reasoning for preferring AirBNB.

The other 10% is two bathrooms and cost.

Yes, instead of banning it outright they just kept the same rules and added loopholes to get around them.

There's no official API for Android, so you can request whenever you want. iOS added this functionality to limit review requests from apps.

robotnixon··on Completely Silent Computer
I did the same but the tower is in my basement. I ran an HDMI and USB cable up thru the wall and into a keystone panel behind my TV. Other than occasionally having to manually flip the tower back on after a power outage it worked pretty flawlessly. Totally silent and no tower to hide in my living room.

robotnixon··on Behind enemy lines: 3 months as an iOS developer at Google
"If you're looking for a good iOS developer, drop me a line!"

Seems like he's at least partly using it for some self-promotion.

robotnixon··on How tall can a Lego tower get?
So could the time spent typing that message.

Fun science stuff like this can get people who aren't normally into science interested in it, including children. There's definitely value in that.

robotnixon··on BlackBerry 10: Awesome
Android apps need to be repackaged in order to run on a BlackBerry device, however the process (at least for me with 4 apps) is pretty painless. My four apps took about half a day. Add in the time it took to collect images and metadata and it took all of 7 hours work to prepare and submit them.
robotnixon··on AMD deal brings Android apps to Windows 8
This is somewhat true. An Android app won't install and run on BB10 but developers can repackage an Android app fairly easily and offer it in the BB store.
