Anecdotally, I'm using Mojave and experienced this issue, a person I was trying to have a Zoom call with was experiencing the same issue on their Mojave.
I think there are enough comments scattered across Hacker News to safely conclude that it affected Mojave too - although it's possible the timeout behaviour / error handling is different to Catalina.

Turns out a lot of humans will stick their arm inside just to see what happens!
Writing from the UK, I'm reasonably sure that (a) all my phone calls are not recorded and (b) the phone number and duration of every call absolutely is recorded (this has to be shown on your phone bill!) and is available to the police when needed.
Speculating further, with the right court orders / warrants the normal E2E encryption algorithm for a particular user could be replaced with a "law enforcement decryptable" one and, hey presto, it's a Zoom equivalent of a proportionate wiretap that only covers future calls. Certainly a lot better than encrypting the calls of all users with such an algorithm "just in case".
Version 1.7.0 was released to rubygems on 8th July 2014, and 2.0.0 on 2nd July 2016, so anyone who has started using rest-client or run a `bundle update` recently is unlikely to be affected.
The impact could have been significantly greater had the hijacker pushed a new versions of 1.8.x or 2.x as well, so it's very fortunate the breach was spotted now.

AFAIK this outage only affected dyno restarting (which may have been triggered by a number of reasons) and creation of new dynos. Perhaps your EU dynos were lucky enough to not have done either of these things during the outage?
Note: The applications in question have had zero interactions (deploys, restarts, scaling, etc.) which might have caused their dynos to be unallocated/re-provisioned within Heroku's own service.
ClickMechanic is an online marketplace that lets you easily and transparently book a mobile car mechanic. We're looking for an experienced Rails developer to join us at our London offices. You'll be part a small team of developers, and should familiar with:
- Ruby on Rails
- ERB, SASS & CoffeeScript
- Postgresql
- git
- TDD (we use Minitest + RSpec Mocks)
Email us at jobs@clickmechanic.com if this sounds like your kind of thing, including your CV and/or Github profile. For example the Giffgaff network is carried by O2, and a UK landline rented through Twilio appears to be carried by Jersey Telecom.
Of course, it's not too hard for the person responsible for merging the pull request to replicate this themselves (branch off master, merge in feature branch, run tests).
My immediate reaction was to wonder whether any mobile browsers aren't mobile-first? From my (incomplete) knowledge of smartphone browsers they all feature interfaces designed for smartphones and smartphones alone.
There must be a better word to use in your tagline - I notice you decided on using "Truly Mobile" further down ;)
The should be able to calculate what percentage of these would still be vulnerable if fully updated - now that would be an interesting stat!
While their real-time Extractors aren't quite as quick as doing it yourself, we've found them to be particularly useful for sites requiring JavaScript and/or cookies to use.
It's also worth mentioning that it's quick to get started. You can start playing around with real data without having to dig into a site's URL structure, and then write your own scraper later if needed.
The one thing that makes me consider switching is the lack of bank transfers in the UK (which isn't a problem unique to Stripe).

And for those who for whatever reason cannot see it on Google, it reads: "The practice of sport is a human right. Every individual must have the possibility of practicing sport, without discrimination of any kind and in the Olympic spirit, which requires mutual understanding with a spirit of friendship, solidarity and fair play." –Olympic Charter
I think the author was hoping to encourage startups out of the free seats! ;)

Your international support is definitely better than most payment processors (Balanced I'm looking at you), but it's been over six months since you introduced Transfers to US customers. I'd love to know if there is a technical/legal reason behind this? The US has a number marketplace payment solutions but I've yet to come across any European ones.
They're ranking 2nd on Google for the term 'vine', and even have the Vine logo as their favicon and next to their listing!
