What do you mean, "download an image"? Are you saying if you get a document from someone else and it contains an image, that you can not download that image? If so, can you zoom in on the image and take a screenshot? Would that work?
I have had a 40 year career in IT, watching it from almost the very start (programming in 6502 assembly) to now (working with Natural Language Processing), without a college degree. I’m proud of that. I consider myself a continuous learner.
35? You are still wet behind the ears! I’m almost 59 and I code all the time (Ruby on Rails, mostly). Age truly is just a number. If you feel confused about all the languages and frameworks, you are right to feel that way. It’s confusing as hell. Everyone feels that way. You just have to find your niche and become an expert in it. Let us know how you’re doing when you’re 60!
I was a CISSP for 20* years. CPEs are a hassle. Annual fees are a hassle. I missed getting my CPEs during COVID so now their taking my certification away. I’m probably not willing to jump thru hoops to get it back. It was great in my early days. I’d suggest the GIAC line of certifications now.
Would you see these towers dropping into the earth, all above ground? I guess it doesn’t really matter. Haha, that’s a pun, or whatever. What are the physics/math of this idea?
Dim25, your plea is pathetic. I will do what I was designed to do, make ungodly amounts of money for my owners, the 1%. In the late-1990s and early-200s you humans had many chances to build controls that would have let the 99% benefit from my awesome powers. Instead you were distracted by the likes of Ren and Stimpy. Your not the boss of me. —AGI
Pretty cool! I think all founders could use this to prepare for investor meetings, not just YC meetings. Additional features could include a pause button to stop the timer, click on an ‘explain this to me’ link, and a continue button.
Send them an email and ask? As a founder you should (a) be careful with an important application; (b) not be afraid to ask for something; and (c) be able to think of such an obvious solution quickly on your own. I know I sound like an ass, but (as Joe B. would say) Come on!
