riksucks··on Ask HN: How to Security Audit for Noobs?
Again, blockchain seemed like a good solution because I am trying to make the whole verification independent of my platform. I don't want the data to be gone if my site goes down. Here by blockchain, I mean public blockchains
riksucks··on Ask HN: How to Security Audit for Noobs?
Interesting, why not blockchain, thought of it because suppose the website shuts down, people can still verify the files.

I didn't even know such a thing like literate programming existed. I wonder if IPython notebooks count as literate programming?
riksucks··on Ask HN: How do small to medium startup hires?
that's a very helpful link and also a very concise reply, thank you, btw I know some of my seniors who went into startups that were blowing up and got paid with equity, and are kinda very well off rn. Is this path worth looking into? Or is big tech a safer bet. TLDR: is the risk worth it? and is it too risky?

riksucks··on 2006: Dwarf Fortress

riksucks··on Ask HN: Favorite strategy to monetize open source?
You know, I have actually seen many open source projects charging money to get you the binary. And since most of the userbase were non-tech people, they would either watch youtube video on how to use "./configure and make" or just pay and get the readymade binary. I don't remember exactly which app was this, but it was a mac app. Hope that helps
