redgirlsays··on Show HN: CraigTrend - graph job data over the last year

redgirlsays··on Review: Eye-Fi Mobile X2 provides real camera quality, smartphone convenience
I always forget to transfer photos from my SD card to my computer, so this seems like a cool and convenient solution for getting those high quality digital camera photos onto your smartphone/tablet/notebook for sharing online.
redgirlsays··on The Domain Name Game
I love this game :)
redgirlsays··on Google algorithm change launched
I disagree. Sites that aggregate information make it easier to peruse what you are specifically interested in without poring through an RSS feed or visiting site after site. And if only a portion of the text is presented, with a link to the original post, you can always visit the originating site to get the full article.
redgirlsays··on Why are restaurant web sites so bad?
That's really cool, I like where you're going with One Big Menu. When I visit a restaurant, I want to know how good what I'm ordering is--I don't care if the restaurant is 5 stars, if what I ordered is the crappiest thing on the menu.
redgirlsays··on What it's like to be the SO of a start-up founder.
That's true, and I didn't necessarily mean that the gf could/would help code the actual project, but having a knowledge of the logic or syntax could be useful. Sometimes there's just a semicolon missing somewhere (etc.) and fresh eyes are needed to spot it, and a basic understanding of coding/that particular language could help in those situations.
redgirlsays··on The life of a telecommuter
Lots of emailing and instant messaging, occasional Skype chats, and sharing photos and videos (generally work related, occasionally random or just for fun). Dropbox accounts also make it easy to share larger files, but that's less a 'closer' feeling than just making things more accessible and connected.
redgirlsays··on The life of a telecommuter
I actually do tend to change out of my pajamas, just into a clean pair of pajamas (or similarly comfy clothes).

What I absolutely cannot do is work in bed, under the covers--I'll doze off. Laying top of the covers, sitting on the couch, or at a desk or table works just fine though, for me.

redgirlsays··on The life of a telecommuter
I'm a tech blogger and co-founder of a small start-up. I have a background in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
redgirlsays··on How to apply for a job and ace the interview
Really insightful and helpful.
redgirlsays··on Productivity in the workplace : Post-It Notes on the monitor
I love Post-Its. I would recommend using different colors to denote the various priority levels of your to-do items.
