As a side note: I predict that we'll see a significant increase in email startups in the next 2 years.
p.s. Is it just me, but I can't fathom why the Gmail team doesn't scoop these guys up ASAP :)
Disclosure: I've worked with some serious venture backed (50MM+) companies doing almost exactly this. I would love to give you a full heads up on what to expect. But making excellent scheduling alone is an incredibly difficult feat. Our team spent considerable time working with the absolutely top imaging facilities in the US just to get scheduling down to a science.
Go destroy those big guys! (AGFA/Fuji/GE etc)
great suggestion, ping me at omar at planleaf dot com if there is anything else you would like to see in an enterprise tier.
I think we totally need to add more feedback for the user input as best as we can. We're even toying with adding a web-version of our product for power users. So web -> email will be very seamless.
Really appreciate the feecback, ping me at omar at planleaf.com if you have any other suggestions/concerns. I'm all ears :)
But yes, competition is always fantastic.
Appreciate the concerns claudiusd. Just trying to protect people's email privacy :)
But more importantly, it's a privacy concern that some people may or may not have.
thanks! :)
[Edit - fixed the Show Original styling issue]
If it's any consolidation, I do not store/scan/save any data. It just blocks images that people are using to invade your privacy (ie track your email opens).
p.s. There is no oauth access required for this extension/app.
I'll add this as well, several companies have built products just to allow people to do email tracking in Gmail (boomerang, signals, streak, banana tag). So yes it does work
