Our first project was Phonegap which then became Cordova. However, after running into many issues including the fact that we did not like someone could right-clicking and save our html/javascrip code, we transitioned to native apps. We have and continue to work in Objective C, Android Java and more recently Swift.

Ultimately, the problem-solution should determine which platform is used including what you use for backend programming. I find that it is equally difficult to find good qualified people in React and React Native as it is with Objective C, Android Java or Swift. So it is 6 to 1/2 doz.

Thanks for your advise. Makes sense. One of the problems was to figure out what "winning" looks like. We have a sense of what we need to achieve and are driving towards that goal. But would like to make sure are not missing anything.

Agree with you...I meant minimum cash out of pocket. I am not looking at paying a lot of monies to some company or agency. Don't have it. Definitly not looking at unethical or illegal methods. Time is ok to spend within reason ofcourse.

Seems like the link goes to a domain parking page. That seemed to download a trojan on my system. At least the file said giggedin_something.htm.

Completely agree with your statement "Take a general...". Most often though, people run off to build a product even before they spoken to anyone ourside of their close family even excluding friends sometimes. Then you have a product and no users let alone customers.

All wonderful advice and legally accurate. The best thing I can tell you is...start the business. If you have paying customers...everything else will fall into place automatically. Getting paying customers is the hardest part of starting any business. At worse, you will be able to run your company remotely from whatever country you are from. However, if your intent is to get the GC by way of starting a company, then there are lot of other easier options without suffering thru starting a company.

Do you really know the competitor has the new product? Or is it just a press release. Many times, big companies do press releases of something or the other being released in the next quarter. That "next quarter" never arrives.

The important question is "more than the product do you have paying customers?" If so, don't worry. If no, worry!!!

Thank you for the suggestions - Isn't Rackspace a little expensive - compared with AWS? Not looked at ORCSWeb yet.

I have considered AWS but am not sure about persistent storage. I use the disk to store some uploaded files. May be I should transition storing everything in the DB?

Excellent concept. Had never heard of this before...but love the concept. Is there a way to manage multiple tasks at the same time?
