rahulbisht··on Show HN: Send real-time updates to your mobile apps with Stac Framework
I've been working on a project called Stac.dev - It's a Server-Driven UI framework for mobile apps. We are currently supporting Flutter, but native android & ios support will come soon. The main idea is to help developers(and teams) update mobile app easily, without having to push app updates through the PlayStore or AppStore everytime.

It came out of frustration with how slow and rigid it is to ship frequent UI changes, especially for onboarding flows, home screens, or anything that’s experiment-heavy.

Some things you can do with it:

- Push UI changes instantly via JSON configs

- Customize UI per user, like showing different screens based on their profile

- Iterate on layouts and flows without triggering a full release cycle

A couple of real world examples where it’s useful:

1. Fintech onboarding: say you want different fields based on the country or change requirements for credit checks. You can do that on the fly.

2. Fintech home: if someone only uses mutual funds in your app, you can personalize the home screen to show more relevant stuff or cross-sell.

Please try it out. Feedback and suggestions are appreciated :)

rahulbisht··on Show HN: I built an AI that turns any book into a text adventure game
The idea is great! Would also love for anime and manga to be included. I tried the Harry Potter game with concise and brief settings.

My thoughts: 1. Would be great to have a loader for both when I input responses and game start. 2. Got this error after I sent input (it's understandable :), since it would be getting good traction) "An error occurred while generating the story: Rate limit exceeded for shared resources. Please try again in 1 seconds, or provide your own API key in settings.. Please try again. If the problem persists, you may need to start a new game." 3. The story feels lackluster without Visuals. Even text based visuals or emojis we use in chat will be good to have. 4. Would be great if instead of chat we had dialogue selector on top of your character or story. 5. Can also change the background of the page based on book and settings selected.

Great work. Love the idea <3

rahulbisht··on Online Ruler – Measuring in inches/centimeters
The idea is great especially the popup scale.

Issues I faced: I use 27" Qhd monitor at 125% scale. The ruler showed 48cm width intially but when I shifted to 100% scale it became 60cm. If I shift to FHD, it goes to 36cm. I thought an actual size ruler will maintain width. Let me know if I am not using it correctly.

The USB‑C connector sticking out feels a bit odd. We can explore to move the port at the bottom, make it horizontal and add a cut‑out in the case for the cable to fit in. That would make the cover more natural and clean.

Looks great. The stats are amazing!
