very true, in fact I know a bunch of people who want to become tech lead so that they don't have to write any code. Such companies are surviving only due to $ - Rs conversion rates. People outsourcing work to such companies are bound to get hurt.

Become 'excellent' in one and good in other

I completed my graduation last year, the compulsory Math courses at my time were:

- Linear algebra

- Calculus (single variable)

- Discrete mathematics

- Probability & Statistics

- Numerical Methods & transforms

What I mean is, even if they manage to solve this problem with some tweaks, they will again hit the bottleneck in an year or two, so they should rethink their source code management

Amazon and Google have already solved this problem, and the solution is to reorganize things into smaller manageable packages.
