1. HR is not tech-savy and most of the time does look for distinguished engineers at the price of an intern
2. Salary is always on the low side, and salary range is almost never included in the job posting
3. Companies are not considering their employees an asset, but a liability

Then the description of tech stack and responsibilities.
This law has been modified and partially canceled in 2014-2015, but people that has been hired before that date still benefits of this law.
EDIT: Look at third page (numbered 70), second column half way, to get a better explanation. https://preserve.lehigh.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?referer=http...
Huge, enormous ecosystem - and plenty of developers ranging from super-junior to rockstar. It's somewhat enterprise-driven ie: it never breaks backwards compatibility
Learning by book (O'Reilly) and by nano projects / examples.

warning: code is a mess - and may have all sorts of nasty bugs, but after all this has been done for fun and doesn't need to be "enterprisey" :)
I do like this kind of videos, they tickle my fantasy and keep alive my passion in programming (that is slowly dying because of work! :) )
Most of interviews I've done to candidates ended up in discussing technology trends and googling around for cool open source projects, libraries and so. This, to me, is a good indicator - as long as you bring them up when discussing relevant problems, this means you thought about a problem and researched prior art to avoid re-inventing the wheel.
Also we tend to end up discussing pro and cons of any given technology and so on. This at the end is a key indicator you're talking to a passionate developer. And passion usually makes someone good at programming.
When it comes to soft skills, usually having such a kind of discussion you can figure out also someones behaviour in most work scenarios (to me, having a good "discussion" mode means you're likely to be fit for team work).
"foobar" may match a file named foosomethingbar.

However if it where to fuzzy match like sublime’s super+p I would love it even more.
Note that I don't live in Germany so my numbers may be wrong, in that case well... let me know :)
So many positions for sw. engineers and so little experienced professionals to fulfill all those job openings, at least in my zone.
I know management should not be pushing us this way - but even being a team lead I can't change this. Time and resources are always fixed and deadlines are always so short that we can't review code nor do proper test & quality.
Part of my new years resolutions is to either change this mindset, gradually of course or change job, because working like this is not giving me the right professional experience to make the next step.
