HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\DNSClient\AppendToMultiLabelName
[default value - 0 (Do not Append Suffix)]
which resolver built into Windows (DNS Client) respects.nslookup contains its own DNS resolver and does not rely on the resolver built into the operating system. The DNS (multi-label) query packets sent by the nslookup tool will append the domains listed in the suffix search order (or primary DNS suffix if the list is empty) irrespective of that registry key.
In summary, don't use nslookup to try to get insight into what actually happens when apps/services try to resolve names. ping is probably a better bet, at least it uses Windows resolver which honours the above registry key.
Every business that sells goods/services in VAT country collects VAT and transfers it to tax authority. There's no any advantage or disadvantage for someone, everyone plays by the same rules.
To sum it up, businesses "do not pay" VAT (technically they pay, but then reclaim it at the end of the month). All VAT burden always falls on the end consumer. Wikipedia says, that VAT is similar to sales tax, but since I'm not too familiar with sales tax, can't comment on that similarity.

I think you meant "Learn to Program" (Ruby book)
$200/MWh is $0.20/kWh.
Regarding sectors of 520 bytes, usable bytes are still 512. Quote from the above referenced document:
> HDDs formatted with T10 PI (Protection Information) have 8 bytes added to the end of each sector. However, the user usable sector size will remain at 512 bytes or 4096 bytes. The 8 bytes of PI will increase the overhead of the disk sector density similar to overhead of ECC bytes in a given sector.
LBA_count = 97696368 + 1953504 * (Reported_Capacity_in_GBytes - 50)
So, for 120 GB HDD: (97696368 + 1953504 * 70) * 512 / 1024^3 = 111.79 GiB
(97696368 + 1953504 * 70) * 512 / 1000^3 = 120.03 GB
For 200 GB HDD: (97696368 + 1953504 * 150) * 512 / 1024^3 = 186.31 GiB
(97696368 + 1953504 * 150) * 512 / 1000^3 = 200.05 GB
For 500 GB HDD: (97696368 + 1953504 * 450) * 512 / 1024^3 = 465.76 GiB
(97696368 + 1953504 * 450) * 512 / 1000^3 = 500.11 GB
Doesn't look like powers of 2 at all. Are you sure about your sizes? Thanks for pointing this out. Watched the movie as a kid, didn’t like it, and thus never even bothered to check out the tv series.
It’s been a long time since I dabbled with Asterisk (IP PBX), IIRC, by default the call forwarding/redirection function uses metadata from the original incoming call. Let’s say, you’ve programmed your PBX that after 30 seconds of incoming call ringing, you want to redirect/forward the call (that is to make a new leg, and then connect them together) to your mobile phone number. I’m pretty sure, on your mobile phone you’d want to see the original caller’s number for incoming call, not the PBX’s phone number.
But a closer look at the data shows that 11% of Indonesians who said they used Facebook also said they did not use the internet. In Nigeria, 9% of Facebook users said they do not use the internet.

> He cashed out and got his initial money back, but then watched excitedly over the years as the 10 coins grew to be worth nearly 500,000 euros.
I guess under Soviet regime Lithuanians and Latvians didn’t have any say in the matter where the nuclear power plant must be built (or be built at all).
