I want to use env vars because:
* I want to reuse builds and my systems have different behavior on different environments.
* I want to override the default config sometimes
* I don't want to expose sensitive configurations, and yet have them explicitly configure in my project configuration
The post it's very opinionated and lacking any valuable point IMO.

As off topic:
After thousands of unfinished side projects, and although a lot of them were close to being finished, I was able to finish the first one and make it real.
The main question is always the same, “how much effort it will take me to find Febe if I need them”.
And my answer is always the same, “make them come and work with you, and focus people excited and open to learn a new technology”.
This situation feels very stupid IMO.
Also provides a reliable source of data, if humans have a LiDAR in their system then we would use it to improve our decisions.
I don’t see why we should limit the AV.
