Yeah, think of Khan Academy but paid.
The pricing I've seen so far in my classes (1 math textbook, 1 history textbook) is 100ish per semester for each textbook's accompanying service, 180ish for a yearly pass (eg. if you take 2+ math classes in consecutive semesters).
for the latter programs having the default be paste with formatting seems fine. yes, i'll paste stuff from the web without formatting. But copying/cutting/pasting within the same document is also a pretty common interaction and if i'm cutting something non-trivial (eg. google docs table/nested lists), i don't want to paste it back into google docs as a bunch of regular, separate lines.
as a student, I'm in discord servers for friend groups, school clubs, unofficial classroom servers, game communities, fanbases, etc - anything that can benefit from conversations organized into different channels is usually turned into a discord server.
when I think "how can I take this group of people interested in the same thing to gather together online?", the alternatives that come up are:
- facebook (too linked to real life identity, also not really great for separating conversations into specific channels to my understanding) - reddit/forums (which can compliment a discord server in being more searchable/async, but in no way rival Discord's real time text/voice chat) - mumble/teamspeak/skype/matrix (largely just has a subset of discord features) - slack/microsoft teams (pretty much solely designated for work and not at all marketed as a general purpose communication solution)

In my case it was 8:20 and I had a sum of 15 so I fixed my password in the next 20ish minutes and set the target time to 9:01 at the earliest and spun up an auto hotkey script to paste the food for Paul every 20ish seconds (in reality I think it eats faster than that)
I guess I should have been wary of a confirm password phase. i even wrote a tiny auto hotkey script to keep feeding that stupid chicken for 40 minutes while I waited for time to tick from 8:20 (I didn't have the password ready yet) to 9:01...
If someone made the official reddit app have customizable colored comment depth lines and added a toggle for the video mode I would be very happy with it.
Obviously I'm just being picky here, I'm very used to the official app. Also, people can patch out ads on Android with revanced anyways.
There's also reddit premium (no ads, customizable avatar, reddit coins) along with a award system where people can give awards that cost reddit coins to exceptional comments. These awards cost reddit coins which can be gained through either getting awards on comments, or subscribing to reddit premium.
Basically, P(lose when switching) = P(choosing correct door at first), and P(win when switching) = P(choosing any incorrect door at first).
If you want a plugin that makes it so that the j appears immediately regardless of whether you're trying to invoke the keymap or not, you can use something like https://github.com/nvim-zh/better-escape.vim
