If you enjoyed RRR and it's over the top drama, action sequences you might also like following movies.
1) Bahubali 1 & 2 (same director)

2) KGF chapter 1 and 2
Rupay is a direct alternative to Visa and MasterCard. UPI is peer to peer payment system for any bank account linked with a phone and debit card.
So far government has been successfully in both of these endeavours.

If you want to read policy research on Indian goverment PRS research is a good resource. They usually analyse new bills and amendments in Indian parliament.
Center has central agencies and each states has their own police department. So whenever there is a noticeable criticism from someone centre or state govt will send their police/agency your way. You will be detained, put through the worst conditions and false charges will be filed. Most of these charges don't hold in higher courts but the damage is done. You will suffer, a lot. You will not dare to speak up again.
This is even so comical, sometimes centre will send agencies against another party politicians in power in a state they are not in power, and state will send police for local politicians from centre party. (https://scroll.in/article/1027571/how-the-modi-government-ha...)
Sometimes diff state police with diff party governments fight with each other. (https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/blogs/toi-editorials/sto...)
And sometimes police will just plant evidence in your email with their work email address as backup email address. They literally jailed bunch of very old left activists with fake charges by hacking their email accounts. (https://www.wired.com/story/modified-elephant-planted-eviden...)

But beyond this, yes it is a humungous project that keeps humming without major glitches. Supported by a lot of workers on the ground doing tasks like track inspections, cleaning, maintenance day and night.
I have noted and will add to roadmap. Score will be calculated differently for different categories of software. Like for Desktop apps and SAAS projects, metrics will be different. Will have to think through this.
Good things I loved:
- Easy onboarding, switch was easier.
- Love the help interface, full text search that directs you to steps.
- Makes my MacBook usable in hot Indian summers.
Things that need improvement:
- Extension support, only supports few popular extensions for now. I miss Pocket, Raindrop.
- Devtools could be much better.
- Buggy sometimes, but I hope this will get better with time.
> Are the alternatives simply listed in order by their GitHub stars?
No specific algorithm for now, but that is a good idea.
Yes, I have seeded the data from multiple open source projects for now. But I will also check how can I leverage APIs or maybe scraping to gather relevant data to this project. Libhunt and Saashub are under CC4 but not alternative.to I guess.
Recently released code under AGPL-3.(https://github.com/prithvi16/ossdatabase)
But I want to go beyond aggregation and add following things
- User reviews, ratings
- Researcherd guides comparing features in most common usecases
- Interviews with Opensource maintainers, founders.
- Being able to create collections like awesome lists
- Everything being user editable and basic karma system for accepted edits.
Edits: Formatting and added links.
Open source/ proprietary projects similar to Appwrite.
1) When are you planning to launch in India?
2) Have you thought about launching your own Linux distro optimized for Framework? You could upgrade Linux desktop experience. That would be awesome.
That is a good idea, I could create a metric from recent commits, releases, open issues, open PRs. I will also add these details to each projects own page.
OSS Database is a crowdsourced database of Open Source alternatives to popular software. I am building this database so people can search and filter open-source alternatives easily. Do let me know what you think.
Built using: - Rails - Postgres - Redis - StimulusJS

I have been to a neurologists in the past multiple times and completed multiple courses of medicine. But those medicines I took had really bad side effects. And I realised the more I used them the more I was dependent on them for a normal mood. Also my brain felt foggy while working when I took them.
I do take time off after a few days of working but that alone does not help. This is a cycle. Planning on going out daily and exercising, eating more healthy and having a schedule with less screen time. Let us see how it goes. These things seem trivial, but I have never them for more than a month continuously. I want to give them a try this time like my life depends on it.
By far the best sci-fi book I have read in a long time
