I don't know if there's anything you can do about it. I did start drinking those energy drinks with nootropics, at least the caffeine helps.
Some other suggestions are: get a lot of sleep, cognitively I declined tremendously when I got sleep deprivation. I would also get an MRI. I just read your comment about slurring words and I would spend the money and get an MRI on your own money just to be sure.
Twilio knows which numbers will charge customers, THEY HAVE THE DATA. They can make a list of numbers that charge customers, and then have a flag that disallows SMSes to those numbers.
They also have relationships with phone providers in every market that they are in, and those providers can provide that same information and then allow a blacklist to those numbers or whatever format the premium numbers occur in.
It's not hard at all. It's a nice value-add feature and I'm sure if a competitor like MessageBird implemented something like this, it would be an easy differentiator if Twilio doesn't want to provide this.
Deprecate means "to continue supporting but to discourage its use." 99% of people believe it means to end support.
I've routinely joked to my wife that her life would be much easier if they fired their auditors and went with BDO or some smaller auditing that they could bully around. The thing is, that's exactly how companies with weak accounting think, and FTX proves that point.
How many months from now will there be a "I take full responsibility for these 25% layoffs" email?
The biggest thing that Tesla got right besides the acceleration is the value-add features like Sentry mode, the tight integration with the phone, the things like Walk-away locking (although I would very much prefer it lock closer to my car because it's about 40-60 ft away when it locks and it makes me nervous).
The build quality is cheaper, the sound system sucks, and I generally despise how many things are tied to the screen. I want buttons and knobs for the air system, to have to hunt for that on the screen is very dangerous, I hate it.
The Porsche feels more luxurious but it's mindblowing how they get so many things wrong. The dashboard is much too complicated with a lot of redundant buttons. Something as simple as there's no place to put my phone, there's only extremely awkward locations that cause my phone to fly around the car when I go around any turn, which is so dumb in 2022. The backup camera has way too narrow field of view, I've almost backed into 2 cars in parking lots, something the Tesla got right. At least they have Apple Carplay, but activating it is extremely annoying.
I also have BMWs before (X3 and X6) and overall my favorite car of all time is the X6.
Could it just be they made an innocent mistake?
>For those of you leaving: I’m very sorry to be taking this step and I take full responsibility for the decisions leading up to it
I HATE when people start saying "I take full responsibility." Okay, if you do, then how are you being held accountable? Are you losing your bonus? Are you losing shares? Or is it just the social media equivalent of saying "Oh, my bad!"
I want concrete examples of how you are holding yourself responsible, not just lip service.
Then I suggest you stop. If you don't like an article, then you can skip it. There's nothing worse than people not liking an article and then decrying about it on the comments when all they need to do is move onto the next article.
I missed the dotcom crash because I didn't want to invest at all, but caught all of the 2008-2009 crash and went long on the bottom in March 2009, but was mostly average after the crash. I caught the entire pandemic drop in March 2020 and also got long at the bottom, but again was only average for the last 2 years. I then went extremely short November 2021 and have been short ever since, and have doubled my trading account. I'm still very short, but by rolling over my options and extending the strike price, I've pocketed most of my gains so if the market rips higher from here I'll only lose about 10% of my gains, but I'm also long META and other stocks, so I'll participate on the long side as well.
I come in at 8am and leave at 2pm, when my commute is about 1/4 what it is during rush hour. Then I hope on for another couple of hours after dinner.
This type of flexibility gives me the best of both worlds, I get to go into the office because I LOVE it, and HATE work-from-home, and I skip the commute.
