punchfire··on Ask HN: How do you deal with life altering decisions?
This may be of some help: how to make hard choices by philosopher Ruth Chiang https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=8GQZuzIdeQQ
punchfire··on My life in Accenture before startups
ok so this is in Asia, i can't say how we operate in the bigger offices: i feel that Accenture's one of the few companies that can provide you with maximum exposure and experience in the shortest amount of time...there are ups and downs but on the whole if you work well, you'll see great results...
punchfire··on Gruber's source: Microsoft only sold 503 Kins.
he's wrong, there you go: http://pocketnow.com/rumor/actually-kin-sold-more-than-503-d...
punchfire··on TELL HN: My side project - SaaS Interviews
Interesting... try to find a differentiating factor though (compared to similar interviews online).
punchfire··on Gizmodo and the Prototype iPhone
all i think is that everyone is making a mountain out of a molehill in this situation. this is blown way out of proportion.
punchfire··on Gizmodo and the Prototype iPhone
i agree that gizmodo shouldn't have published the guy's name at all. though how it was reported etc is hardly surprising. this is exactly how journalism works. people are all hotheaded in this situation because it's an apple product that's been unveiled. i doubt gruber would be "offended" by a similar case for any other company's gadget.
punchfire··on Tell HN: I'm willing to develop a free iPhone App. What do you need?
you know how we have those calling cards and you have to call this long number and then enter in the international phone number you're dialing? anything that helps that process along would be quite cool. I'm using skype at the moment but it still can't beat the calling card price and carrying around the card or remembering long international numbers is a major hassle for their use.
