We think it will be more performant with Swift 4 release soon this year. The benefits for using Swift over RN is first-class support and optimized with LLVM and Clang.
Useful for intensive processing, gaming and AI that RN is not a suitable choice. Likewise, LinkedIn iOS app is written in Swift.

JSON can be improve with Protocol buffer, flat buffer, etc
Databases are sufficient if you don't need scaling, this works for WordPress which makes up largest market share, your best investment is on VPS and low latency.
I spent a few days testing and it was an eye opener, compare to the numbers of >100 outstanding issues filed in React, Angular, etc which may probably never fix it for some reason and complexity.
Inferno-1.1.0 have an error at runtime, could not test JS Framework right now. Sveltejs works.
I use Swift Sever Side framework for backend and Sveltejs (https://Svelte.technology) for front-end JavaScript to handle just about anything that jQuery could and a lot easier to run same compiled modules code on Nodejs and web browsers with Rollup.
Less worry than running frameworks that will encounter bugs that may take time to resolve e.g. React, Angular 1/2 have enormous issues since 2014/2013, Swift and Sveltejs are a great combination. I roll, I roll, I roll out in 2017!
Pssst. DOM are fastest when you only need to update a small portion of your code and majority of use case with DOM manipulation is fine.
Telco ISP offer premium services to replace iPhone and Android phones without question ask at a lower fee.
Majority of consumers' expectation are unlike we see 20 years ago, they would like 4K display, for medical research like HealthKit and movie realistic gaming are powerful. iPhone 7 and phone that use Snapdragon 8x0 are just enough but not great since batteries lifespan is the limitation. Li-Ion batteries is going to phase out with a non-hazard batteries.
Someone could start with Samsung Tizen OS, they still have not take off.
The same for Android and some are still using vulnerable versions. It can be free if the OS does run auto update, if it cause data loss, it will cause headache. I feel Windows updates is already making our IT jobs miserable. There is nothing to stop anyone from trying paid subscription mobile OS, if it's successful and gather strong community support, you will see it on HackerNews #1 rank. ShowHN.
The alternative is Jolla or Tizen. I would rightly reject paid subscription that customers may complaints over limited features or demand unrealistic request which can cause more harm than a model for growth.
