prayerslayer··on Chrome's experiment of hiding the URL is awful
I just wanted to point out here that Chrome already emphasizes the domain [1] as this is a common proposed solution in this discussion. The visual clues should/could be stronger though.

Shut up and take my money!
prayerslayer··on You Got Your Web Browser in my Compiler
I wouldn't say that VS loads "Internet Explorer", that's a bit of an exaggeration. iexplore.exe is Internet Explorer, mshtml.dll holds the DOM implementation it's using [1,2]. Now that's still close to a web browser, but one may also use Trident to work e.g. with generic XML documents. I don't know if VS does that and whether this is a good idea or not though.

prayerslayer··on JZed.js – The functional JQuery alternative
There are parts that will not work in IE 8 (doesn't support addEventListener) or even IE 9 (doesn't support classList).
prayerslayer··on Swiss Fort Knox - High secure data center inside the Swiss Alps
One of my professors told us that UBS mirrors its whole data center to another one located in a mountain. Does anybody know if it's this particular thing? Or are there more than one of this?
prayerslayer··on UX Design of Google Glass Apps
So the design principles for Glass are the same as for every other piece of software. Good to know.
prayerslayer··on The 1-bit interface
Technically? Yes. Practically? You're kidding :)
prayerslayer··on Google Reader alternatives
The list confuses full feed reader services (like Feedly, Newsblur) with Google Reader clients (Reeder). Would have been nice to separate those as Reeder is certainly not a replacement for Google Reader.
prayerslayer··on My Latte is Worth It - No Fun Allowed
This is fun if you speak German and think of the "morning latte" as "Morgenlatte" which translates to "morning wood".
prayerslayer··on Amazon Maps API
I find Nokia-powered maps quite impressive, at least in Germany. Don't know about the quality in the US or Asia.
