It’s better to port cppbuilder with ui code to Mfc.that’s what we did at last when we were absolutely done with it. As a fellow developer who’d been in this situation before ,my advice would be to start doing it now
It would be prudent to include some data to substantiate your insinuation that some non white non European programmers did the Boeing MCAS code. The 9$ per hour wage maybe less than that of a burger flipper in the USA, but the cost of living is vastly different.Being an engineer , if you are ignoring this significant parameter then we definitely know one source of the issue .Maybe you are not an engineer but a fine arts major who “learned” coding by yourself.
A home appliance was getting 1 star reviews in Amazon because they didn’t include customary “starter” kit of baking dishes. Nothing against the product . The reviews are also worthless. Think from the perspective of sellers. If a number generated by an algorithm that is influenced by bitter people who were pissed off by someone that day is deciding your product placement and fate. You will do whatever is required to make it right.
We need a Free fourth estate . Not some for profit media companies producing click bait articles. (A sample title would be “Look what Elon did to jalopnik”)Nowadays mostly standup comedians are tracking the issues of common man.
Good for them. Why do we need a biased filter (journalists) between customer and company.if it is damage recovery journalists and their employers can be easily bought for cash.in this world of direct communication it would be childish to assume papers and journalists are still relevant
It has been mentioned in the article that MCAS was never outsourced. Also it’s unfair to blame the software engineers who are building it to specification. It would be fantastical to assume that Boeing management( the same one ploughing through engineering with bean counting) would give a rats crap about a low level engineer raising a concern.
So what they are saying there were no issues found in 13 dollar per hour engineers code. But the 40 dollars per hour engineers made the plane dive. Interesting. I would rather bet my money on the former.
