React-Chrono v2.0 has been released, which is the most significant release since the initial launch, and includes several enhancements and improvements, such as:

🃏 Complete redesign of the timeline cards, making them more modern, responsive and easy to use. Dark mode, with a control button available via the control panel to switch easily between light and dark mode. Theme improvements, giving users complete control over the look and feel of the timeline regardless of the mode used. Text Overlay mode, which enhances the look and feel of the timeline cards when media is used and provides easier-to-hide, expand and minimize text. Improved slideshow function, including progress bar enhancements and 3 new slideshow types. Nested timelines, the most significant and important addition to react-chrono.

The project is still actively under development and accessiblity is something not yet fully implemented but the goal is to get there eventually very quickly. I have not advertised as fully accessible.

Can you clarify a bit more on the keyboard navigation working poorly. may be logging a issue on the repo would help me to solve it quickly.

as for problems in safari, i use a windows laptop and i haven't got the opportunity to test on safari thoroughly. But this will be looked into on high priority.

Render timelines in three different modes (Horizontal, Vertical, Tree). Use the Tree mode to layout the timeline cards vertically in a tree like fashion. Auto play the timeline with the slideshow mode. ️ Display images in the timeline with ease. ⌨ Navigate the timeline via Keyboard. Optimized to render images efficiently on (tree & vertical mode). Images not visible are automatically hidden. Customize colors with ease. Built with Typescript.
